    A singleplayer by excellence, a beautiful story of two brothers in the midst of various calamities, plague, plague of rats to which is added the terror of the inquisition.
    The game has a beautiful atmosphere , spectacular soundtrack , my only problem might be the final villain which is quite generic , that does not detract from the enjoyment of this game .
    One more thing , what a    A singleplayer by excellence, a beautiful story of two brothers in the midst of various calamities, plague, plague of rats to which is added the terror of the inquisition.
    The game has a beautiful atmosphere , spectacular soundtrack , my only problem might be the final villain which is quite generic , that does not detract from the enjoyment of this game .

    Very interesting story! Its compelling and fascinating. The gameplay is good, but the story is what really kept me playing. A bit too much sneaking around for my liking, but it had enough change in gameplay throughout that I didnt mind too much.

    Muy emocionante. Me he tirado todo el juego en tensión. La musica es una delicia y la ambientación sobresaliente. Si este juego fuera exclusivo estariamos hablando de un clasico. Graficamente es muy bueno y el doblaje es muy creible. Me ha durado algo mas de 11 horas y es muy poco rejugable, lo cual no me importa pues es muy intenso y lo jugué en Game Pass.     Ho iniziato questo titolo solo nel giugno del 2021, e finendolo in 2 settimane circa, ma non so come ho fatto a non averlo visto prima, dato che ora sto aspettando il seguito che uscirà già nel 2022. Un titolo di altissimo livello dotato di assets incredibili, come quelli forniti da quixel megascan, una IA abbastanza raffinata con cui ho riscontrato pochi bug, scrittura del codice tantoHo iniziato questo titolo solo nel giugno del 2021, e finendolo in 2 settimane circa, ma non so come ho fatto a non averlo visto prima, dato che ora sto aspettando il seguito che uscirà già nel 2022. Un titolo di altissimo livello dotato di assets incredibili, come quelli forniti da quixel megascan, una IA abbastanza raffinata con cui ho riscontrato pochi bug, scrittura del codice tanto buona da non farmi trovare quasi nessun bug. Espressioni facciali che mi hanno leggermente deluso, poiché solo alcuni personaggi erano dotati di buona espressione (mancante nella protagonista).
    Comparto audio piacevole, Doppiatori che hanno dato più vita ai personaggi. Mi piacerebbe vedere questo titolo doppiato anche in Italiano, ma quello inglese mi ha già super soddisfatto.
    Se non erro questo studio ha realizzato questo titolo pur non avendo un grandissimo budget, wow!
    Concludo col dire che è uno straordinario titolo, complimenti ai creatori.

    I got this masterpiece on a steam sale just thinking "well a couple of euros is nothing, i get to try something different than Wittcher 3, why not?" One of the best decisions i've made. Graphics are just 9/10, really gorgeous and dark... Enviorment is also a 9/10, i really felt every single tension and fear the characters felt Gameplay was ok, simple, accomplished what    Score: 8.7

    Gameplay was ok, simple, accomplished what it intended, not very complex nor important.
    THe puzzles were also cool but not that great

    The story was awsome up until the end where it got a bit too crazy for me, but this may be attributed to me thinking in the beggining of the game that this would be fairly grounded game, no fantasy crap, i tought they wanted my brother because of some real world reason (royal blood or something)
    If i went in knowing that this game would have some fantasy elements where the kid can control the rats and all that, maybe i wouldn't feel this way.

    Nonetheless, recomend it 100%

    This is a full escort game. Being escort missions usually the worse idea in a game, this time is not that bad. They made a kind of clever companions and implemented several mechanics where the escorted ones complement the player and add some abilities.

    Maybe the best of the game is its superb graphics. Especially the characters that have a lot of details: scars, wounds, dirt, ... and those change over time. this makes feel them like real humans not like a Vogue portrait character like 99% of the games.    … Expand

    this game lost 5 hours of my progress from 6 chapter to 11 because windows defender block saving file in documents folder even though prior to chapter 6 game saved properly. had to drop this piece of **** of a game

    My partner played this game in 2021 and completed it, I helped her with a few sections and even though I had also planned to play this game at some point, I did not have an idea of when that would actually be. Fast forward to the beginning of 2022 and I decided to finally scratch this one off the list, especially knowing that a sequel is due to arrive later in the year.

Fast forward to the beginning of 2022 and I decided to finally scratch this one off the list, especially knowing that a sequel is due to arrive later in the year.

    Story - The plot itself is interesting enough to pull you along, the land of France has been infested with a plague of rats and it is about a Sister and Brother who has their world, their home and their family torn upside down due to this which leads to a fight for survival. What really sells me is the relationship between Amicia and Hugo, Sister and Brother, their relationship growth is rather predictable but I loved these two together and I wanted nothing more than to ensure Amicia protected Hugo. You also run into other characters as you go and a lot of them are very likable, even though some got more development then others, because it was so hard to find characters that Amicia and Hugo could trust, latching onto these guys was very easy. Again, the overall plot is all good, but the absolute winner is the characters, especially Amicia and Hugo.

    Gameplay - You are looking at very limited combat here, stealth is the focus, for some they would say that is not acceptable (and some negative reviews clearly do), but I will say it loud and clear, don't go into this game expecting intricate combat because that is not the purpose here. You are playing as a young adult who is there to look after her little brother, so your job is to sneak passed enemies, distract them, and use crafting materials at your disposal to survive. There are elements of combat here like a dodge mechanic and using a sling to attack enemies with rocks and such, but this is not a game where you are all powerful. Your enemies are war trained knights, as well as rats who you also need to evade, puzzle elements are implemented here which you need to solve to get by, doing so unsuccessfully usually results in an instant death to Amicia or whoever is accompanying her, there is no health bar, you might think that makes the game very hard, but if you go in with the mindset of sneaking and not trying to brute force your way through, you will have a much easier time. I think what the game wants you to do is done well and I didn't have any major complaints on the gameplay side of things.

    Graphics - It is a very beautiful game, the game takes place in a 1300s France so you get some beautiful landscapes but the darker stuff is very dark, you may be trying to slip paste a horde of bloodthirsty rats to then walking along a battlefield riddled with dead bodies all over the place, this is a dark game and intended for mature audiences only.

    Collectibles and customization - You do have customization in this game like upgrading your sling, or certain items you can use to get by, you find crafting materials as you go and I did manage to upgrade everything except one thing by the end of the game. On top of that, you do have several pieces of collectibles that you can pick up like flowers that Hugo loves, these include fun little descriptions and information which I really enjoyed.

    Performance - I played on a fairly decent custom built PC and no major issues here, I had only frame drops whenever I got an achievement but that is about it.

    Final Rating - I had a wonderful time with this game, felt connected to the story and it's characters the whole way through, the gameplay is exactly what I expected to be, its about survival and protecting the ones closest to you (especially Hugo). It is a beautifully dark game with some a really impressive soundtrack, and with a sequel on the way, there is no better time to play the game than right now.    … Expand

    Incredible well written and original. I'd give this a perfect score if enemies weren't all lookalikes. Really liked the environments where the French and the British we're battling amidst the plague!

    The combat is bare bones on purpose so you can cleverly use the enviroment and stealth to advance.     Игра мне очень зашла, разве что скомканность и некоторые сомнительные повороты последней трети игры подгорчили итоговые ощущения.

    В общем всем советовать её не могу, но как сюжетное приключение очень даже может зайти)

    Nice story, acting is wonderful, mechanics are well polished. Game is not boring and not too long. Playthrough took me 10 hours and it was perfect way to spend the weekend.

    Good graphics, somewhat good story, but with clichés. Too bad it has some crappy design and gameplay decisions, like the clumsy combat system and the enemy range, especially the rats, which in the final battle ruined my experience.

    For a long time I could not decide to play it. But it turned out to be a good game. Very reminiscent of TLoU.
    I don't like stealth games. But here "stealth" is not annoying, it is simple and interesting.
    Pros of the game: atmosphere, plot, beautiful world around.
    Cons: Character animation, slightly monotonous gameplay.

    Dari awal sampai akhir, a plague tale innocence mempunyai suasana yang sangat bagus, tema, musik, dan grafis sangat mendukung hal tersebut. Dari segi gameplay, kebanyakan cuma jalan dan stealth saja, ada beberapa boss battle yang membuatnya tidak terlalu monoton. Untuk cerita, pada awalnya lumayan bagus, tetapi lama kelamaan bisa dibilang ceritanya makin tidak logis.

    Эта игра с точки зрения визуала просто прекрасна, каждая локация будь это замок или поле битвы сделаны на высшем уровне. Прекрасно передана эпоха тех времен. Также отмечу прекрасные кат сцены. Из плохого очень маленький пул противников 4-5 скинов на всю игру протяженность которой +10 часов.

    Звук 8/10

    Звуковое сопровождение на протяжение всего прохождения не было просто песенкой на фоне, оно великолепно дополняло атмосферу.

    Сюжет 7.5/10

    Сюжет же не является чем-то сверх интересным, но вкупе с визуалом он заставляет переживать за героев. Но побег Хьюго является вершиной абсурда на протяжении всей игры.

    Лвл Дизайн 8/10

    Множество локаций начиная стелсом с классическим броском камней заканчивая погоней разъяренного противника за героями. Но из-за геймплея очень линейны.

    И вот та самая ахиллесова пята A Plague Tale: Innocence. Из-за геймплея игра не стала шедевром игровой индустрии. При вполне неплохой прокачки и большим выбором снарядов для пращи. А также не забывая о способностях напарников героя перед тобой должен открыться огромный мир вариантов убийств врагов. Но ты не можешь их использовать. Вся игра это интерактивное кино, где ты по скрипту выполняешь все что тебе говорит большой брат разработчик, только в двух-трех локациях под конец игры ты можешь по своему желанию выбрать как убить противников.     Good story if not terribly clichéd. The gameplay is where it falls short, becoming a tedious trial and error exercise which ultimately takes much of the sheen off the overall experience.

    В последнее время не хватало таких игр как A Plague tale. Все пытаются в открытые миры и если честно они надоедают. Во время прохождения игры получил массу удовольствия именно из-за атмосферы и визуала игры.

    This game is perfect for pepole who like boring games with an okay story and the most irritating character in the whole gaming universe. That character is Hugo, he is by far the most irritatiing charcter, ever. He just runs away from you for no reason, he play "games", or try to play games with you and is mad at you for nothing.     Handlung:
    In A Plague Tale Innocence geht es um die beiden Geschwister Amicia und Hugo. Zusammen versuchen sie vor der Inquisition zu fliehen. Das Spiel spielt im düsteren 14. Jahrhundert und handelt teils von der Pest in Frankreich. Hugo leidet seit seiner Geburt an einer Krankheit. Die Mutter der beiden versucht durch Alchemie die Krankheit von Hugo zu heilen. Im Verlauf des Spiels trifft man auf Verbündete die einem durch die feurigen und krabbeligen Passagen helfen.

    Gameplay(Controller):
    Das Gameplay holt einen schnell ab. Man hat kaum Probleme und weiß welche Aktion auf welchem Knopf folgt. Die Charaktere machen das was man ihnen vorgibt. Während des Spiels kann man Gegenstände einsammeln. Die Kameraposition ist größtenteils perfekt. Das HUD ist schnell zu verstehen und drängt sich nicht in den Vordergrund.
    Selbst das Verbessern von Gegenständen wie Tasche oder Schleuder versteht man ohne Probleme.
    Bugs oder Probleme sind nicht aufgetaucht.

    Sound:
    Die von Olivier Deriviere komponierten Soundtracks zu A Plague Tale Innocence passen zu dem Spielstil. Sie sind Individuell zu den Situationen die man während des Spiels durchläuft.

    Grafik:
    Die Grafik ist für das Spiel passend gewählt. Es passt sich dem 14. Jahrhundert an und kommt keineswegs Falsch rüber. Die Charaktere passen sich der Umgebung an und wirken nicht deplatziert.

    Fazit:
    Geschwister Single-Story-Adventure Spiel Feurige Passagen und krabbelige Rätsel im Stil des 14.Jahrhundert. Sound und Grafik passen. Das Ende fühlte sich ziemlich überrumpelnd an und man hat das Gefühl, dass das Spiel schnell sein Ende finden sollte. Das Ende war nicht perfekt dennoch ist das Spiel zu empfehlen. 100% Run ist für mich nicht relevant.    … Expand

    While the game has very nice graphics and overall atmosphere and kinda unique combat system, it it very lacking as a game. The game is basicly a 9 hour (yes, ONLY 9 HOURS) interactive story / tunnel run with "click e to open door" and "shoot x by pressing xx" from start to finish. There is a single straight path through all the chapters, with no exploration what so ever. And the character development is just "your pouch now carries 4 more shots" type of thing, while you will never have any use for added components, or other upgrades. You can easily finish the game without any upgrades done.

    Also the game is extremely easy. Puzzles are like "push cart into the wall", "move xx to xx". While the game actually says what you need to do.

    I get it that some people might enjoy the story but for me personally it was just plain stupid. The story starts as very promising and realistic tale of plague in middleage europe, but very quickly evolves into very very stupid one with fantasy elements.

    Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS FOR FULL PRICE. Get it for free (like it is now on Epic) or from some major discount, and be mindful that it is just a bland tunnelrun with rather stupid story that lasts for only 9 HOURS.    … Expand

    Good game. The graphic is average. Balancing between gameplay and story. May not suitable for hardcore stealth fan but it gud for me :D. Cant wait to the sequel

    A descent game worth playing only once. The visuals sometimes are really good, other times nothing noteworthy. The story is strong enough to keep you interested, but gets heavily illogical sometimes (specially regarding the villain's actions). Gameplay is varied and descent, but the mechanics of the game get too annoying sometimes, and you die without any reason. Not that it's difficultA descent game worth playing only once.     Then, gameplay is fairly mediocre as well. Basically stealth plus slingshot, which is mostly autokill if you have the right projectile equipped.     f you watched movies a lot you can spoil the game for yourself so easily there is some good graphic in game but the walking simulator is max pain pes2 v copy it could be better. The puzzles was a such unthinkable cliché that but some of them was pretty good actually something that carry this game was the cut sine and way that game take you to the situation

    I absolutely loved this game! It runs and looks beautiful, and it has a great story to go along with it! I Would have given this game a 10/10 if it wasn't for the fact that the stealth was somewhat tedious. Also this game is hard to replay because of how linear the game is. Besides those small issues I loved playing through this game!

    So it's not simple and not open world, but I was so blown away by the game. It's like a classic Resident Evil where there is linear progression, solving stealth and attack puzzles. I played through 27 total hours, but never noticed since I had a lot of fun. The game just sucks you in that you'll feel the stress Amicia (or Hugo) is feeling.

    I was also able to get a really nice ~48fps at 720p on a supposed non-gaming laptop.

    Es un juego lineal de aventura de ciencia ficción, esta basado en el Siglo 14 en Francia en donde ocurre un acontecimiento de una peste (mezcla entre la peste negra y la peste bubónica) reflejada en una plaga de ratas. Tu controlas a una chica en +- 18 años llamada Alicia que debe cuidar a su hermano que conoce muy poco de 5 años llamado Hugo que cuenta con una enfermedad en la sangre relacionada con las ratas, a su vez los franceses están en un conflicto armado contra los ingleses.
    Hugo es un niño, super super inocente que debe enfrentarse a la cruda realidad de estos acontecimientos traumáticos.

    Gráficamente es impresionante, es uno de los juegos con mejores gráficos que jugué en PC y para mi fortuna, esta super super pero super bien optimizado, lo pude jugar con un AMD FX6100 y una RX570 en Ultra limitado a 45fps para una mejor experiencia, y se ve increíble, me lo imagino en 4K con HDR, debe ser una locura.

    Con respecto a la jugabilidad, esta basada en sigilo, los puzzles son super sencillos, nuestro protagonista tiene una honda que al principio del juego nos sentimos en mayor desventaja con respecto al oponente ya que a medida que pasa el juego porque es poco precisa y ruidosa, podemos ir mejorando nuestra arma con un sistema de mejora y looteo calcado al del The Last of Us, al igual que la forma de producir objetos o la forma de seleccionarlos con el R1.

    La banda sonora del juego es excelente al igual que los escenarios que cada uno de ellos cuenta su propia historia sobre todo lo que esta pasando.

    Algo que no me gusto para nada fueron la forma en la que hicieron a las ratas, te la cantidad que hay, parecen manchas negras con puntos rojos, ademas de que se mueven rapidisimo.

    En conclusión, me encanto, la pase muy bien jugando a este juego, aprovechen que están en Xbox Game Pass porque es un muy buen juego, super recomendado.    … Expand

    About minuses: Why the heck not to say something that can bring you closer? Always in films or books(well, in real life too, I suppose) characters foolishly ignore such moments and then become conflicts only because they didn't just tell each other very simple words... Another nonsense is that when enemies are nearby, the heroes speak in whispers. But this never works when there is a crowd of enemies between the heroes, and the whisper sounds loudly so that the player would hear everything. "Whispering for the whole World"... Many times I noticed that resources are not well placed(during many locations there was much more crystals than another more needed at that moment resources)... Random bounces. It was awful experience: Due to the fact that the enemy catches you up quickly, kills with one hit, and most importantly, the animation of the killing does not even happen close to the girl's body - dodges are completely useless in this game. And on the other hand, they constantly interfered when you want to climb quietly over a wooden log, and she corny dodges off and makes it noisy... I didn't like that you can't go back to take the loot that you couldn't take earlier... Some skills are totally useless, and cost disproportionately expensive... And I really didn't like that the game didn't tell us any information about that curse.
    ...
    It's not really a problems so it haven't had an influence on my rating. Just some complains: The kid, her brother, sometimes madly enrages me with his behavior... The main line of the game that "Children against grownups" could be a little bit better. I think it would be more interesting for the game's atmosphere of despair to have in story some children-traitors and some good grownups(not 2-3 as we have).
    Even with these minor flaws, I was ready to give "Plague" a top rating for reminding me of what great storytellers of no less great stories games can be. Especially when it is backed up by incredibly beautiful and eerie surroundings, and incredibly thrilling music.
    ...But... than came two stupid film/book/game clichés that totally spoils logic and adequacy only to squeeze a tear out of the viewer's and player's eyes. (1) Part of me was jubilant that in this game, on the contrary, there were many moments that trampled clichéd actions. But on about 3/4 of the game, one of the characters first started doing what was discussed just now... and... then just stopped. As if someone had thrown out of his head what needed to be done and what was agreed just now! ...It was awful, very awful and foolish from the author's side. To my great regret. (2) Epilogue three days later after the game's end. Too ridiculous after all that the whole game has cultivated in our heroes and how it ended in the finale. This epilogue is like the fifth leg of a cat.    … Expand

    Completly mediocre game. Graphics are generally good, but it has stiff characters and animations, the rat swarms and npcs are a joke from an immersion standpoint. Gameplay is uninspired and boring. Gameworld feels like a set piece.

Но эта игра цепляет своей атмосферой, музыкой и каким никаким стелсом. Первая игра для меня, которая завязана исключительно на стелсе, пусть он и примитивен, но геймплей ощущается приятно. Несмотря на все её очевидные плюсы, эта игра для меня точно не вытягивает на балл 8, я стараюсь объективно оценить эту игру, осматриваясь на мой background, в какое колличество я игр переиграл и хороших и плохих, данная игра не может войти в мой своеобразный топ20 игр, но готов признать, что эта игра хороша и для людей которые вообще не играли в игры и для заядлых геймеров, но назвать её востребованной нельзя. Неторопливое введение в сюжет, отсутствие динамичных геймплейных фишек, оттолкнёт современного геймера, но для человека, которому важна история, проникновенная атмосфера и невероятное музыкальное сопровождение он нашёл себе идеальную игру. В общем всё резюмируя, моя оценка 7, крепкая и уверенная, оценка 8 или даже 9 была бы если бы эта игра была для меня первой, советую обязательно ознакомиться с данной игрой, она достаточно быстро проходится, а скоротать пару вечеров в данную игру сам бог велел… Expand

El combate sin ser el objetivo del juego esta bien implementado y es suficiente para poder disfrutar. Creo que en verdad que la intención de los desarrolladores en poder vivir una de las muchas historias que se dieron en esa época mezclando a su vez realismo con ficción. En resumen A Plague Tale: Innocence podría ser uno de esos Indies que pasan desapercibidos pero creo que al ser tan ajustado y plantear todos sus valores de una forma tan adecuada ha podido destacar por encima de otros títulos. En mi caso me ha gustado mucho y creo que siempre lo tendré en mente cuando piense en aquella época que vivió Europa con las Peste Negra. Muy recomendado.… Expand

    1) Seemed like a generic console game
    2) Had some pretty nice graphics
    3) Misrepresented medieval history. Characters weren't believable.
    4) Had a cliché scene where the main character's dog dies
    5) Had a close-up shot of a cross which I hope wasn't a religious signalling thing.

    I should really give this another chance, but for now it gets a mediocre score for mediocre first impressions.    … Expand

    It is truly a masterpiece with its gameplay, music, graphics and story.
    I don't mind how this game was not the game of the year.
    Buy it and try it, you won't regret it.

    Si la direction artistique est sublime, le gameplay lui se montre vraiment répétitif. Devoir toujours effectuer des énigmes avec l'éclairage pour éloigner les rats, c'était drôle cinq minutes… L'histoire étant l'un des points forts du jeu (avec les graphismes et le level design), on essaie de sauver le petit frère malade d'Amicia (l'héroïne que l'on    → Aziz, lumière (vous avez la réf ?)

A Plague Tale se divise donc entre son gameplay de moyenne qualité et ça DA qui par contre, envoie la sauce tomate !

    Exciting and great game! The narrative and atmosphere are perfect here. The gameplay is truly interesting and graphics immerse the player completely. I sincerely wait for the sequel!

    - There aren't any things to complain about or make remarks about, this game requires much more attention

    Overall the story and the game itself it's a gem and it deserves the praise and the love from those who have played it. I can't stress this enough how important it is for those who read this review and actually give it a shot. It's 15 hours of straightforward gameplay, a linear game that focuses on the story and it does a formidable job.

    Without a doubt, it's a game I wait for a sequel and gets a clean 10/10 from me from the experience it gave. Amazing job done by all who've worked on the game.    … Expand

    A Plague Tale: Innocence makes a commendable effort to mask its somewhat routine gameplay, and in the end, it wins you over with captivating atmosphere, great music, likeable main characters and nice visuals. If you like cinematic games, this stroll through Dark Ages is worth it.
