    Pegou tudo o que ja foi feito no genero beat up e elevou a um nivel superior. Divertido e desafiante , tudo o que encantava em um game do genero na era dos 16 bits foi revivido com maestria.

    99vidas, a game based on a Brazilian podcast about old games and nostalgia. The game is based on the classic "beat 'em ups" of the 16-bit era. The characters and scenarios are based on the experiences portrayed by podcasters and fans over the last 7 years. Controls, sounds and graphics are impeccable. Highly recommend to everyone!!

    A show of references. A 16-bit beat n' up like the oldies.. this game takes me back to the time where all that mattered was sitting in front of my mega drive and playing Streets Of Rage.
    Excellent OST, artwork, great system of combos and upgrades.. masterpiece! Highly recommended to fans of the genre

    "Beat and Ups" based on the most successful podcast on games in Brazil, brings many back the joy of playing with friends (local and online cooperative of up to 4 players)
    Fun game, easy gameplay but very challenging. With many variables of characters, scams and possibilities.

    Um jogo baseado no "universo" do podcast 99vidas. Beat 'em up desafiador, com vários personagens, trilha sonora excelente, mas acima de tudo, divertido. São muitas referências e piadas mesmo para quem não acompanha o podcast, se prestar atenção principalmente no cenário você vai rir um bocado. Contando com um certo fator replay pois os diálogos são diferentes e o final também é a dependerUm jogo baseado no "universo" do podcast 99vidas. Beat 'em up desafiador, com vários personagens, trilha sonora excelente, mas acima de tudo, divertido. São muitas referências e piadas mesmo para quem não acompanha o podcast, se prestar atenção principalmente no cenário você vai rir um bocado. Contando com um certo fator replay pois os diálogos são diferentes e o final também é a depender dos personagens que estão jogando.     Extremamente divertido o jogo, com 10 minutos de jogo já estava convencido que foi um ótimo investimento. Se você gostava de jogos como Streets Of Rage/Final Fight, vai na fé... nota 99vidas!

    Great game... Perfect for portable.
    very fun... even for people who do not follow the podcast ... the game is fun.
    the way the progression of the game is made without continue, and the upgrades of the characters surely increase the replay factor of this game.

    That is probably one of the best beat-em up games I've played so far, pure nostalgia. I knew the podcast before playing the game, but didn't listened to it before, thanks to this game I'm now addicted to it, even supporting them on Patreon.

    The graphics are incredible, pixel art perfection. Now that I listen to the podcast, I understand more and more easter eggs on the game, and that's    That is probably one of the best beat-em up games I've played so far, pure nostalgia.     It's one of the best games of the last years! Inspired by the series "Streets of Rage" and the theme of the 99vidas podcast, it is a must have for those who call themselves "gamers". It has a wide variety of playable characters, and a very accurate aesthetic, in addition to extremely fluid gameplay.

    Jogo muito bom. Definindo o jogo : um jogo não precisa reinventar a roda só precisa que ela rode bem e n 99 Vidas a roda esta rodando muito bem mesmo .

    99Vidas is a nostalgic beat'n'up adventure based on one of the best Brazilian podcasts. I felt my childhood playing this game. It's so hard like classic arcades and snes games. If I could add something else to make it more nostalgic than actually it is, I would add password instead auto save. haha.

    Jogo repete a mesma formula de outros jogos, caso queira lembra basta comprar o sega collection, com jogos de mega , irá gastar menos e terá a mesma emoção com mais jogos.

    Ótimo jogo, que traz de volta a alegria de joga um bom Beat 'em up. A música é excelente, os gráficos são muito bons com cenários variados e com várias referências do cast e de outros games. A jogabilidade é muito boa. O jogo não é facil de terminar sozinho, mas nada que seja impossível. Com um pouco de treino você consegue terminar, como se fazia na época dos 8 e 16 bits, em jogos comoÓtimo jogo, que traz de volta a alegria de joga um bom Beat 'em up. A música é excelente, os gráficos são muito bons com cenários variados e com várias referências do cast e de outros games. A jogabilidade é muito boa. O jogo não é facil de terminar sozinho, mas nada que seja impossível. Com um pouco de treino você consegue terminar, como se fazia na época dos 8 e 16 bits, em jogos como Megaman, Contra, Battletoads... Pena que essa nova geração de "gamers" se dedica mais em criticar do que se dedica a jogos com um pouco mais de dificuldade. No geral temos um ótima jogo que faz uma bela homenagem aos clássicos Beat 'em ups e que vale cada centavo.… Expand

    If you like Streets of Rage, there’s a good chance you’ll like this. It doesn’t bring anything revolutionary to the table but Qubyte has done a fine job of capturing the essence of the classic beat-em-ups of the ‘90s, and although there’s a little bit of repetitiveness in it, this is a title that’s worth playing.

    99Vidas‘ humour can be very hit and miss, and the game’s challenging difficulty level may put some people off. But persist and you’ll find it a rewarding and hugely enjoyable brawling experience that will have you coming back for more, no matter how many virtual teeth you lose.

    I wanted to like 99Vidas after it promised to faithfully live up to the classics and add new beat ‘em up elements, but it couldn’t hit its own hype at all. The beat ‘em up genre is one that is filled with monotony and it desperately needs a fresh new face to give it the revitalization that other genres, like fighting games, have seen in recent years. I wasn’t expecting 99Vidas to be that game but I was hoping it’d be a competent beat ‘em up. Instead, it leans too heavily on lazy writing and tired mechanics while only adding mechanics that serve to make the game more frustrating.
