    At first this seems like a great game, but eventually the levels become poorly designed. Specifically, they are designs where if you get through the first part of the level and you get to the second part [yay! i did it!] at the wrong time in the second part's sequence, you die instantly. You have to predict the exact timing of the rest of the level, and that isn't fun. If you surviveAt first this seems like a great game, but eventually the levels become poorly designed.     Although it may seem an impossible game to beat, 1001 Spikes knows how to reward those who try to beat it thanks to a delightful level design.

    Like many of the games in the same league, it’s hard to recommend 1001 Spikes to those who aren’t patient enough to learn its deadly and intricate ways, or to those who are prone to smashing their controller through their TV screen in frustration. But to those who live off buzz words like “rage-inducing” and “old-school hard”, look no further.

    Its varied level design, gratifying gameplay, vast amount of content, and palpable tension make 1001 Spikes a must-play for people seeking a challenge.
