Nov 6, 2025Two Point Museum, from developer Two Point Studios and publisher Sega, brings a fun and wickedly addictive museum simulator that runs deep with its gameplay. While it’s certainly not as complicated as most simulators of its type, it’s still well thought-through and executed in nearly every aspect of its gameplay.

Feb 9, 2026Much like the game itself, Two Point Museum stands as the culmination of years of perfecting systems from the initial entry in the Two Point universe. With an excellent progression system and a great tutorial from the outset, anybody can pick this up and run with it to create the museum of their dreams.

Oct 27, 2025Despite a few little snags with the UI and load times, however, Two Point Museum feels utterly at home on the Switch 2. It’s the kind of game you just want to play for hours on end, and it certainly delivers enough content to ensure you can do so. If you like a management sim and own a Switch 2, this is definitely a game you’ll want to add to your library.

Oct 28, 2025Two Point Hospital is great, and this Switch 2 port is largely a great way to play it. An option for 60fps would have been nice, as would mouse support, but ultimately, the addictive gameplay of the Two Point series has translated well to the Switch 2, and console-playing fans of the series should seriously consider picking this one up.

Nov 18, 2025Two Point Museum arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 with a proposal as irreverent as it is entertaining: managing a chain of museums with themes ranging from prehistoric to fantastical. Preserving the franchise's signature humor, this management sim blends creativity and chaos, offering a fun, accessible experience that is surprisingly well optimized for Nintendo's new portable console.

Oct 27, 2025Despite performance hiccups and slightly confusing controls, I think the Nintendo Switch 2 is a great place to play an incredible management sim.

Oct 28, 2025Two Point Museum is an awesome management sim with a horrible port. It's held back by a myriad of optimization issues, graphical bugs, and missed opportunities to show off the upgrades the Switch 2 has.

Oct 28, 2025I had my doubts about the whole museum thing, but the never-ending charm of the Two Point world carries you through it all. There are so many things to unlock, systems to manage, and options to tinker with — perfect for anyone thinking about getting into the genre. There are no mouse controls, which is a bummer because the UI can be a little clunky, but you’ll get used to it over the many hours you’ll spend with this game. It could even be 1 a.m., like it was for me.

Oct 27, 2025Two Point Museum is easily one of my favorite games of the year, taking an already fantastic foundation and rocketing it to new heights. With hundreds of hours of play and a ridiculous level of attention to detail, it’s a must-play for all fans of simulation and city builder games. However, occasional performance dips and the lack of touchscreen and mouse controls knock the Nintendo Switch 2 version back a step.

Oct 27, 2025Two Point Museum on Switch 2 is a fairly straightforward port to Nintendo's latest console. The minor glitches and crashes should be ironed out quickly, but it's clear that the game simulation does hit the limits of the Switch 2's CPU and larger museums do drop the frame rate. Still, it remains a thoroughly enjoyable and endlessly quirky management sim that's an easy recommendation for fans of the genre and this series in particular. If you can't accept a few compromises, the other platforms are ready and waiting.

Oct 27, 2025Two Point Museum might be the best Two Point game to date. It’s smart, funny, good-looking, and packs in more mechanics than you can shake a stick at, all without feeling overwhelming or too much to handle. It’s got some performance-based blemishes on Switch 2, and the lack of a mouse mode at launch feels like an obvious omission. Still, the final package is an incredibly entertaining one that fans of management sims would be mad to skip.

Jan 5, 2026Two Point Museum's Switch 2 port retains the games gloriously entertaining mechanics, hilarious dialogue and addictive gameplay loop. It stutters in the visuals when the crowds pile up though, and the lack of mouse controls is a strange thing to miss for such a big port. As such, there are far better places to experience this terrific game.

Nov 6, 2025Now that I’ve been able to play the fully patched version of Two Point Museum on Nintendo Switch 2, it is a perfect fit for Nintendo’s new hybrid console, but the port needs more work, not only in performance and load times, but also in features. Two Point Studios and SEGA would’ve delivered my favorite version of the game had this shipped with mouse and touchscreen control options in addition to controller support.

Dec 11, 2025Two Point Museum attempts to bring the vastness of its content to Switch 2, but the price to pay is a series of technical issues that increase as the museums expand. The mechanics are all there, but customization beyond a certain limit is handled with difficulty by the Nintendo console, causing jerks, glitches, and crashes. The attempt is commendable, but if you can, it's better to play it elsewhere.

Oct 27, 2025All this makes it currently very difficult for me to recommend Two Point Museum wholeheartedly right now. While I adore the style, humor and general gameplay loop, it is now becoming a struggle to fully enjoy the game as it reveals its deeper layers. I wish to explore the depth of its gameplay and for that I will now refrain from giving the game a fully scored review. In part because it feels like I have just gotten the hang of its systems and controls in more depth. But also because I want to believe that the developers need a bit more time to optimize and finetune the game for the Nintendo Switch 2. In its current state, at launch, I would not recommend picking up Two Point Museum unless you’re willing to deal with its shortcomings in terms of both performance and presentation. I hope that the developers are able to take the time to get more acquainted with the Switch 2 hardware and use it to optimize the game. In particular I want to see them embrace the features that help a management game such as Two Point Museum thrive on Nintendo Switch 2. For now, this museum is, in my opinion, still undergoing renovations and I hope to see it reopen in the near future to make its exhibits shine. [Review in Progress]
