Mar 6, 2026Super Bomberman Collection is the most complete and confident celebration of Bomberman’s early years to date. It blends preservation with modern polish, offers a wealth of content across seven games, and captures the joyful chaos that made the series iconic. Minor technical quirks and limited online features hold it back slightly, but they do little to diminish the overall achievement. This is Bomberman at its most generous, its most accessible, and its most enduring.

Feb 17, 2026If you’re someone like me who wishes to re-experience these really great titles from Hudson Soft, then I certainly recommend you give Super Bomberman Collection a try. And hey, maybe if this sells well, then Konami might consider finally bringing more of these older titles, either as another collection or as titles to Nintendo Switch Online.

Feb 12, 2026The Super Bomberman Collection is a wonderful bundle of games, whether you were a Bomberman kid or want to try something new.

Feb 10, 2026Super Bomberman Collection showcases some of the best Bomberman gameplay the franchise has ever seen. If you have friends or family for local co-op or competitive play, there are a lot of options, stages, and features to explore. While I will continue to bang the drum for thoughtful compilation releases, of which this is definitely one, more online connectivity would have been a great addition to the package. Perhaps best enjoyed in short bursts, Super Bomberman Collection is the best Bomberman release since the Bomberman 64: The Second Attack!

Feb 9, 2026The Super Bomberman Collection is a genuine celebration of the SNES era of Bomberman games. Five amazing games, tons of goodies, what more could you want?

Feb 22, 2026With this Super Bomberman Collection, fans will finally find a complete way to relive the golden age of the series; new players will have the perfect opportunity to discover why Bomberman remains a video game icon more than thirty years after its inception. A blast from the past for one of the longest-running and most beloved series in gaming.
-
Feb 26, 2026While other compilations are more robust, Super Bomberman Collection is still a blast with its seven games on offer. The solo gamer in you will have fun in smaller sessions, and grab some friends for a local battle or couch co-op (no online play), and you’ll have an even better time.

Feb 24, 2026There’s nothing out there in video games quite like multiplayer Bomberman. And with the Super Bomberman Collection, we’ve righted a historical wrong, with over half this series previously unavailable in North America without importing carts that wouldn’t fit in a Super Nintendo without taking a pair of pliers to the poor thing. This is a respectable collection that includes multiple new localizations, high quality museum assets, and a dope, new unboxing feature. It doesn’t have the same production value as Konami’s other collections, and it’s a bummer the big sign of that is no online play. But if you can get your friends together in a room, I guarantee you’ll have a megaton blast.

Feb 17, 2026Super Bomberman Collection showcases some of the very best gameplay that Bomberman has to offer. Between the various games on offer, there are dozens of hours of exciting couch multiplayer battles to be had, demonstrating that it doesn’t take the latest and greatest tech for a game to simply be fun to play with others. Though the lack of native online is disappointing, the great gameplay coupled with some robust museum content that honors the legacy of these games makes this one a no brainer—especially given the relatively cheap price. If you’re looking for another game you can pull out on game nights with friends, I’d highly suggest you pick this one up.

Feb 12, 2026An excellent compilation of seven games from the heyday of Bomberman, but it’s a shame it doesn’t have more online options, to make joining in the multiplayer fun easier.

Mar 4, 2026The display issues, input lag, and little bugs here and there detract from what is otherwise a rather well put-together assortment of games. Super Bomberman Collection might not have your favorite Bomberman game in it, but there’s plenty here for any fan to find some fun with. I really appreciate all the extra touches in the UI, and having two newly-translated games is nothing to sneeze at. The GameShare option is a natural fit here, provided you have Switch-owning Bomberman fans in your vicinity. I wish the actual play experience was a little better than it is, but I’d imagine most players will find this to serve their needs well enough.
