May 13, 2026Pokémon may never have looked so good. The ability to talk to them or care for them is probably a fan's dream come true. The post-apocalyptic setting itself is a great excuse to give us a clear area to develop, as well as an interesting plot device. The downsides are the mediocre controls and the sheer number of resources, which can be easily lost when you have to keep them in separate chests.

It can feel slightly overwhelming at times, but ultimately stands as a dream come true for fans of Pokémon and Animal Crossing, and one of the best reasons to own a Nintendo Switch 2.
