Jun 20, 2025Fast Fusion’s least exciting mechanic might actually be the one in its name — the fusions themselves are fine, but let’s be honest: we’re all here for more anti-gravity racing that pushes the Switch 2 to its limits — and we’re only a couple of weeks into the system’s life. For the hardcore, there are the added challenges of Time Attack and Superhero modes, but for everyone else who just loves a good race, Fast Fusion still delivers the fun.
-
Jun 11, 2025Been craving a new F-Zero? Fast Fusion delivers the speed, style, and polish for just fifteen bucks. No online mode is a shame, but the slick fusion mechanic and tight gameplay make this an absolute gem for Switch 2 owners.
-
Jun 10, 2025What it lacks in tracks, FAST Fusion more than makes up for in sheer blisteringly speedy fun. Stunning, smooth and dangerously addictive, between this, Mario Kart World and Arcade Archives 2 Ridge Racer, the Nintendo Switch 2 has been spoiled for racers.
-
Jun 9, 2025Fast Fusion gives futuristic racers on the Nintendo Switch 2 a fantastic start. Not only it improves on its predecessors, it sets the standard for a new generation thanks to a gorgeous and impressive audiovisual performance, creative and challenging track design and a newfound approach to racing which will ensure a lifespan that will extend for a long time, all this topped with a flawless sense of speed. The new Nintendo Switch 2 could not have asked for a better futuristic racing game to open the gates.
-
Jun 8, 2025An outstanding speed game that, although not the most complete in the world in terms of modes and options, puts at your fingertips a torrent of speed and adrenaline for very little money, and with interesting options like GameShare. Without any doubt, one of the first Switch 2 must-haves.
-
Jun 7, 2025Fast Fusion may not have the most comprehensive collection of tracks, but it's easily the most accomplished entry in Shin'en Multimedia's series so far. The new jump ability adds a new layer of strategy to the gameplay, while experimenting with the fusion mechanic to find the perfect vehicle is a joy. The occasional grinding to save up money can be a momentary drag, but if you're after something a bit more 'hardcore' than Mario Kart World, Fast Fusion is a no-brainer, and an absolute must-buy.
-
Jun 6, 2025Fast Fusion should be an instant buy for new Nintendo Switch 2 owners, providing an incredible dose of futuristic racing and a great graphical showcase for the new console at a bargain price.
-
Jun 16, 2025Fast Fusion is a must-have title for fans of futuristic racing games, especially considering the extremely low price at which it can be purchased from the eShop.
-
Jun 7, 2025Fast Fusion is the deepest and most mechanically interesting game in Shin’en’s Fast series, and one I’ll be going back to on a regular basis. The level design is the best it's ever been and when combined with the fusion system, makes for some great replayability. While I have some minor critiques of the image scaling implementation, the technical package overall is excellent. The Switch 2 has certainly come out of the gate as a racing powerhouse but don’t let Mario Kart World take all your attention. Fast Fusion is another great entry in this sci-fi racing series.
-
Jul 4, 2025Fast Fusion offers a lot of fast-paced fun and is a great showcase for the power of Nintendo Switch 2 with its selection of stunning courses.
-
Aug 1, 2025Fast Fusion is without a doubt the perfect racing title for those looking for something as an alternative to Mario Kart World and the retro-fuelled F-Zero GX. It still doesn’t quite feel as feature-complete as Fast RMX yet, but Shin’en is doing a fantastic job of pumping out free extra content into this Nintendo Switch 2 futuristic, high-octane experience to keep fans coming back for more. For now, though, brace yourselves for stunning visuals, a pumping soundtrack, and some of the most edge-of-your-seat racing ever witnessed.
-
Jul 10, 2025This futuristic vibe and unrealistic speeds may not be for everyone, but I’m delighted to see this style of play still alive and kicking its way down the course.
-
Jul 7, 2025If you love anti-gravity racers, you must play Fast Fusion, it's as simple as that. While it has some aggressive catch-up which can be irksome at times, it's otherwise an audio-visual treat with moreish gameplay and a neat vehicle fusion mechanic.
-
Jul 6, 2025Fast Fusion is an excellent arcade racer that could have been one of the best Switch 2 launch titles. Its fast, addictive gameplay deserves hundreds of hours, but the lack of online multiplayer holds it back. The €15 price helps, though many would gladly pay more for a full online experience.
-
Jul 2, 2025Fast Fusion is a fast-paced and visually striking futuristic racing game that offers high-speed tracks, color-based boosts, and a new awesome jump mechanic. Developed by a small team, it offers great value for its low price, though the lack of online play and limited number of tracks slightly hold it back. Luckily future updates will remedy the latter aspect.
-
Jun 30, 2025Shin’en Multimedia delivers a fast-paced arcade racer with an excellent sense of speed, fun mechanics, and impressive visual performance, although it lacks online multiplayer and suffers from limited track variety and strict collision detection.
-
Jun 17, 2025If the pumping music doesn’t get your adrenaline flowing then the blistering pace and loud special effects will. Highly recommended.
-
Jun 17, 2025Successful, skilful and gripping. These three adjectives summarise Fast Fusion well, the adrenaline rush for the launch of the Switch 2. If you're in the mood for high-speed racing, you can't really get past this game. Despite all its strengths, however, it is not without its weak points: The fluctuating picture quality due to aggressive DLSS upscaling could annoy purists. Particularly in handheld mode, you have to make compromises. However, I can't really be mad at the game for this, precisely because Shin'en offers an otherwise flawless arcade experience despite its small team size, of which there are unfortunately not that many today.
-
Jun 16, 2025Fast Fusion plays just as excellent as its predecessors. This game is all about fast, precise driving and perfect utilization of the boost ... You might not put as many hours into this that you will into Mario Kart World, but at just 15 bucks you cannot go wrong with this, no matter if you play solo or with friends.
-
Jun 13, 2025Image quality aside, Fast Fusion is a speedy racer with a lot of content, and it’s also one of the cheapest Switch 2 launch titles, only being beaten by Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. It’s a minor shame that there’s no real online matchmaking, but at the price point, Fast Fusion still presents the best deal you can get at launch on Switch 2. If you’re still eager for a new F-Zero, Fast Fusion will fill the void in your heart for now.
-
Jun 11, 2025Priced at just 15 euros and with the promise of free content to come, Fast Fusion is a very good futuristic racing game that will surely delight fans of the genre. It doesn't burden itself with anything superfluous and races towards the finish line at hypersonic speed to the sound of frenzied electro music. With more circuits, in-depth ship customization, and a real campaign mode, it would have reached new horizons. As it stands, Shin'en's game is a 100% arcade experience full of thrills that you would be wrong to miss out on.
-
Jun 10, 2025Affordable doesn't have to mean cheap: A rock-solid anti-gravity racer that's simply fun without reinventing the wheel. And the price is a real treat.
-
Jun 9, 2025If you want to showcase what Switch 2 can do, plug in Fast Fusion and let rip – beautiful, fast and innovative. The only drawback is a lack of online multiplayer.
-
Jun 9, 2025A brilliantly fast and playable racing game that doesn't cost the Earth, Fast Fusion is a superb example of what Switch 2 can deliver. Super Hero mode is pretty perfect, though some balancing issues and oddly fuzzy visuals take off some of the shine. This is really front of the pack.
-
Jun 12, 2025Fast Fusion could be a great snack for many Switch 2 owners. It’s not nearly as extensive as Mario Kart or as expressive as F-Zero, but it goes down like a tasty bonbon: presented like a true delicacy and with more depth than you might expect. Don’t expect months of fun, but a nice snack around the release of Nintendo’s new console. However, online multiplayer would have extended the lifespan of this game considerably.
-
Jun 11, 2025FAST Fusion is a delightful racer with lightning-fast gameplay and some cool new mechanics. The game doesn’t offer a huge amount of content, but that’s perfectly fine for a price of 15 euros. Once again, FAST proves to be the ideal racer to alternate with Mario Kart. Visually, the game runs incredibly smoothly, although I do hope the image quality in handheld mode gets a bit of an upgrade through a patch.
-
Jul 21, 2025Fast Fusion is a very impressive showcase of the Switch 2’s graphical capabilities. A decent range of tracks and the awesome fusion mechanic definitely make it worth checking out (especially at its unbelievably low price tag), though some frustrations with progression and borderline unfair AI rubber-banding hamper the overall experience.
-
Jun 27, 2025Fast Fusion is a well-made sequel which relies on the same formula that has proven itself across four generations of Nintendo consoles.
-
Jun 13, 2025Fast Fusion costs £13.49 for Switch 2 and for that minimal amount of money, German Shin'en Multimedia offers a clearly enjoyable Wipeout clone that also includes a very elaborate split screen mode for up to four players, locally. If, like me, you always miss Wipeout and F-Zero, you're right to spend your money on this.
-
Jun 12, 2025The best F-Zero clone since Fast RMX, with some extremely impressive visuals for a Switch 2 launch game, although the structure and track design lack Nintendo’s finesse.
-
Jun 7, 2025Fast Fusion is available at a budget price of $14.99. Compared to some other Switch 2 games, it's super cheap, and it definitely gives players their money's worth, even with the lack of proper online multiplayer and misguided progression. Racing game fans that need something a little different from Mario Kart World should consider giving Fast Fusion a look. As long as they are aware of its shortcomings, they should still walk away satisfied with the overall package. Plus, Fast Fusion has new content on the horizon that should make it even more worthwhile.

Jul 21, 2025For now, Fast Fusion scratches the high-speed sci-fi racing itch, and it’s a great showcase for what’s possible with the Switch 2 — and what a new F-Zero might, someday, possibly look like.
