There are so many modes, multi-player games and features that could easily have you seeing less and less daylight as time goes on.
-
As complete a package as anything Nintendo or Rare has released and it deserves the respect that those titles garner.
-
While it may not be the most graphically impressive version of the game, it is faithful to the series and manages to be the best skateboarding game for the N64.
-
If you own a PlayStation, Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 or Xbox, I can't in good conscience recommend this as a purchase, but THPS 2 is definitely recommended for those of you who only own an N64.
-
If you can handle the C Button syndrome while mid-air, you'll be winning championships like you were the Hawk himself.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyIts amazing that the now two-year-old engine is still kicking butt Only if you dont own a DC or a PS should you buy this. [Sept 2001, p.147]
-
The fact is, THPS2 is still the best skateboarding game on the market. And the N64 version comes with the same addiction factor.
-
Nevermind the graphics. Forget the sound. The reason that so many people worship the Hawk series is because it is a fun game.
-
If you compare it feature-by-feature to the other versions, you may come to two conclusions its not as good, but its still as cool (and fun) to play.
-
Despite its now trademark addictive gameplay, THPS2 just doesnt cut it anymoreon an aged system Tony just looks and sounds awful, and there arent any new features to redeem it.
