Iron Man VR is a pinnacle of VR technology and a game that I would show to anyone who was interested in seeing what VR had to offer. It highlights just what makes VR special in a way that few other games have. It ranks up there with Half-Life: Alyx as one of the must-have titles for anyone with a VR headset.

Camouflaj has put an extraordinary amount of work into the Quest 2 port of Marvel's Iron Man VR, solving many of the issues that held back this extraordinary game upon its initial PSVR release. What is left is the best superhero sim on the market, with amazing flight and combat and a pretty great Marvel story. VR fans should not hesitate to grab this game; it’s quite simply one of the best VR titles ever released.

The Meta Quest 2 release of Iron Man VR shows that Camouflaj is expanding and enhancing the VR experience as the hardware capabilities improve. The game feels like what you would expect from an Iron Man experience and without all the wires to gum up the perceived reality it’s trying to deliver. The game works better, feels better, and looks better than its previous release. You shouldn’t pass it up.

With a fresh story, AAA quality gameplay, a solid amount of gameplay, and now complete freedom of movement in the controls, Marvel’s Iron Man VR is absolutely phenomenal. This is a major win for the Meta Quest 2, and a must-have for your library.

If you have already played Marvel's Iron Man VR on the PSVR, the Quest 2 version is a hugely improved experience both with the hardware and in the game itself. If you've still yet to play it at all, it's quite simply one of the best VR games on the market today.

Iron Man VR is the perfect example of how a game port should be. It's the same great game with better controls and crisper visuals, which is great considering how darn good the game actually is. If you're even remotely a fan of Iron Man's character from any Marvel movie, you owe it to yourself to pick this game up.

The maturity of the platform helps the title fill those gaps posed by the PSVR hardware and further elevates the gaming experience, making it more engaging. The graphics sector benefits from the higher resolution and, at the same time, the absence of long waits in transitions helps immersion in Tony Stark's adventure. The defects of the narrative remain the same but, overall, they do not undermine the enjoyment of the gaming package. Continuing on this path, Camouflaj can give us great emotions.

Marvel’s Iron Man VR is a decent game, no matter where you play it, though I would argue that the Meta Quest 2 version is perhaps the best way to play thanks to its ease of use and cleaner visuals. The intuitive controls, fun aerial combat, and some quality presentation make for a heroic effort by developer Camouflaj, and a worthy addition to any Quest 2 library.

It’s a game that uses interactivity to capture the essence of the character in the same way that Insomniac and Rocksteady have done on flatscreen platforms with Spider-Man and Batman. The difference is that virtual reality allows Camouflaj to put the character directly into the hands of the player, creating an experience that is faithful to its origins but wholly more immersive.

Is Iron Man VR the best VR superhero game out there? No – that honour has to go to Megaton Rainfall. But it’s still up there, and thanks to the Quest 2’s superior tracking, this is a much better experience than it was on PSVR. And so, you’re a Meta Quest 2-owning Marvel fan, you won’t regret stepping into Tony Stark’s iron underpants.
