If you enjoy the idea of safely spending time underwater, enjoying ocean wildlife, this is a great option. It’s reasonably priced for the enjoyment of simply swimming around. The story is fun to explore, but I could happily swim with the fish for hours. Grab a copy for some lovely, safe time in the ocean.

Beyond Blue: After the Storm is an enjoyable little underwater adventure that gives insight on man-made disasters along with the lovely living things beneath our feet. Though their importance is stressed, information comes off slim at best and paired with a decent VR experience at the very least makes this game a fun edutainment journey for all ages.

Fans of the original Beyond Blue will get something from After The Storm - so long as they go into it with the right expectations. This isn't Beyond Blue 2. This isn't an improvement on the original game. It's set in the same world, with the same characters, with a similar focus on preserving the oceans. But this is a very different game viewed from a new perspective and while it falls short of meeting the quality of the original, the game still has enough saving graces to save it from the depths entirely.

Despite its promising premise, this VR expansion fails to deliver an immersive underwater experience due to its limited interactivity, lackluster graphics, and overly guided gameplay. Movement feels clunky, interactions are shallow, and the second character adds little to the experience, making the short runtime feel unnecessarily stretched.
