    Wipeout also tries to get you to pony up for premium currency, but it's not a free game to begin with. Most of the game is open to you regardless, but panhandling in a paid app is always a little off-putting.

    Ultimately, Wipeout is a thoroughly enjoyable game. Players are sure to have fun diving, running and falling all the way to the finish line. The Game Center integration, when combined with the competivie nature of Wipeout, is sure to keep players occupied even when they've finished unlocking all the items.

    Whether you're a fan of the show or not, you'll have plenty of fun with Wipeout. It's a solid platformer that can be extremely challenging, but also good for a laugh.

    Wipeout isn't perfect, but it still delivers enjoyable platforming that'll only get better with the inclusion of future updates. For now, it's still worth $1.99.
