Where's My Water? 2 succeeds in spite of its free-to-play aggravations.

Where’s My Water? 2 is a solid addition to an ever expanding franchise, and although I can still do without its in-app pay scheme, it’s a game that’s worth checking out.

Where's My Water? 2 definitely needs a few improvements if it wants to reach the quality of its predecessors, most notably a strong pull-back on its aggressive IAPs.

Where’s My Water 2 is worth picking up, but it could be so much better as a paid app with no energy meter.

Had Where's My Water? 2 followed the same pricing structure as the original, it would've fared much better. It's a good sequel; just one that may drain your wallet.

The original game worked, so we don't know why Disney has moved to the free-to-play model. Even worse, it's a very, very restrictive model, which makes the game hardly enjoyable without spending a certain amount of money.

Where's my Water 2 could be free, but with his nervous waiting times and anything new introduced is better to revamp the old episode.

More of the same isn't necessarily a bad formula when a game is good enough to justify it, but Disney is really exploiting a good idea with questionable marketing choices in Where's My Water? 2.

With the game constantly forcing you to stop playing, eventually you'll find that it isn't even worth coming back to anymore. No matter how fun the puzzles may be, they're only fun so long as you can play them, and Where's My Water? 2 makes every effort to avoid being played.

The addicting, charming game about a crocodile with hosophobia has a sequel. With new levels, new challenges and a new business model that leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth.

Where’s My Water? 2 provides more physics-based puzzles without rocking the boat, but a barrage of freemium roadblocks – thanks in part to the baffling inclusion of an energy mechanic – drains fun from the latest adventure.

Disney has made a number of admirable changes to Where’s My Water? 2, but these are overshadowed by the money-grubbing nature of its energy meter and pay-to-play focus. What was once a relaxing, refreshing change of pace in the App Store is now just another poorly implemented freemium model. It will take a lot of baths to get this stench off Swampy.

While the original aimed to capture our hearts, the sequel only seems to be after our wallets.

It's games like Where's My Water? 2 which give the free-to-play model a bad reputation. One of the most cynical games I have ever played.

A decent enough puzzling sequel that's ruined by an overbearing and unpleasant payment system, Where's My Water? 2 is a soggy mess.
