Jun 1, 2011If you're anything like me, the thrill of fighting off waves of aquatic-robot monsters with a well armed half-spider, half-velociraptor Araknasaur makes Velocispider an easy buy. Fortunately, it's also a challenging arcade game that will keep you scrabbling for a high score.

Jun 15, 2011Velocispider is an excellent shooter for everyone, from enthusiasts to novices, thanks to some immediate, simple but yet extremely accurate controls. The game is packed with awesome pixel art graphics and great tunes. What a pity there are only twenty levels! Anyway, don't miss it.

Jul 26, 2011One of the more addictive games you'll find on the App Store, despite the fact that it stars one of the most terrifying heroes in recent memory.
-
Jun 6, 2011It's something that really gives you that feeling of a game that's been 30 years in the making.
-
Jun 1, 2011Velocispider is a bit lacking in content, but not in fun. What started out as a fun game jam idea has turned into a great little retro arcade game for the App Store.
-
Jun 1, 2011A fresh take on the old school arcade games. Funfilled action with great looking pixel art. The game might be short, and somewhat shallow. The lack of alternative controls to the accelerometer is also a drawback. In the end it is still really easy to recommend.
-
Jun 13, 2011This is the sort of arcade experience you pick up and play for a few moments, not only because its classic gameplay is still fun today, but because its setting and aesthetic can't help but make you smile.
-
Jun 1, 2011Velocispider is an exciting retro-styled shooter, but it could use a bit more variety and depth.
-
Jun 1, 2011An entertaining, if familiar, shooter, Velocispider may not be the most original title on the App Store, but it offers up a good dose of dependable old skool gaming.
-
Jun 22, 2011A lot of game for your buck, but the graphics are dry and the controls are a bit off.
-
Jun 3, 2011Just because a game is a time-waster, it doesn't mean it can't be filled to the brim with fun; sadly its relatively rigid levels focus' on high-score junkies for replay value.
