    VainGlory is the best mobile Moba game out on the market! I have been following these people for so long. It has so much potential. The graphics are beautiful and well animated. Devs do listen to their players! You'll never be disappointed! If your a Moba player and new to mobile Mobas.. don't be afraid, please I highly recommend this game!

    I love it..great balance and graphics, also skill tier gives me a great reason to play...wanna get vainglorious :3. The game is really all I can ask for in a iOS moba. Community is great and devs are extremely active. I really love livestreams on twitch and the new stormguard characters are something to look forward to.     I never liked MOBAs to begin with, but the day I played Vainglory, I was hooked. Every little detail worked for me with this game : The very intricate scenery, easy to learn controls, and also the battle mechanisms. The way the game plays is so intuitively compared to PC MOBAs, theres literally nothing between you and the game (i.e. a mouse or keyboard). I've been playing everyday for 3I never liked MOBAs to begin with, but the day I played Vainglory, I was hooked.     Best hardcore game on mobile! Team at Super Evil Megacorp have actually mastered MOBA for touch.

    I played other moba games on iOS and seriously after I laid my hand on this awesome game, the other moba games seemed to be so inferior and bland. And also they had a great community and good devs that will always be there to help out. I was hesitant to play it again but I tried it, thinking that it would crash but no, it didn't! This had made so much progress that it just feels unbelievable and all the heroes are well balanced unlike some other mobas where there will always be that one character who will kill you in a blink of an eye.     Vainglory is what mobile gaming greatly needed, a console quality game that reaches out to both casual and core gamers alike. There have been many attempts by other companies to replicate the success of MOBAs on the mobile platform, but so far only Super Evil Mega Corp managed to hit that sweet spot with regards to match length, strategy and depth and overall replayability. The DeveloperVainglory is what mobile gaming greatly needed, a console quality game that reaches out to both casual and core gamers alike. There have been many attempts by other companies to replicate the success of MOBAs on the mobile platform, but so far only Super Evil Mega Corp managed to hit that sweet spot with regards to match length, strategy and depth and overall replayability. The Developer team too is unlike any other dev team I have seen, they listen closely to player feedback and actively participates in the forums and other media like Facebook, LINE and even Twitch where they run weekly streams and gives away prizes. As far as the game is concerned, it had me hooked from early April itself during the beta testing days. The game has grown phenomenally since then due to the outstanding work by the dev team who prioritized the bugs and issues well and fixed them swiftly.     Beautiful game overall. I've been playing it since summer and I must say it's a pretty solid game with kind and interactive staff. The community is also friendly and interactive with each other. But game-wise it is in the process of turning into a great game and I hope someday it will be more well known. The heroes are also true to their setting which is the Halycon Fold and it doesn't go over the line by adding insanely distant from the setting heroes as this game is set in a sort of futuristic setting with a bit of mysticism added to it.     This game is simple but surprisingly deep tactically and strategy-wise. It is beautiful to look at and gameplay is smooth and superb fun. Believe the good reviews, this is iphone free-to-play gaming done right. The developers care about their product and are off to a very, very good start.

    In my opinion vainglory is the best iOS game ever created! It combines best graphics, amazing online fights with the best community I've ever seen. This game got his own forum where players meet players and developers - all very familiary! They keep an eye on what players want and need and they always find a possibility to add these features!

    This is the first game review I remember ever making; VainGlory is just that good. I'm new to the MOBA genre and this game makes it so so simple for someone like me to jump in and have a blast. In no time I feel like I'm mastering the characters and doing some serious contributing to wins. Yes there is room for improvement, devs need to figure out a way to include chat without sacrificingThis is the first game review I remember ever making; VainGlory is just that good. Super Evil Megacorp came with the solution! Vainglory is their latest master piece. It is a MOBA styled game friendly for newer and hardcore MOBA players with intuitive touch controls. Seriously do not bother installing Fates Forever..Everyone has heard or played the famous game of League on the PC.     What an unbelievable game. I knew it was going to be something to watch for the day i saw it live online at WWDC2014. There are several MOBa's out there for mobile but this one tops the charts in my opinion. Tutorial is quick and informative, Game can be played without IAP (or with), and the competition is real. Very friendly Dev's, you cannot ask for more! :) just sit back and Play while dev's do their job in Optimizing the Game :) Perfect 10/10 because 11/11 doesn't exist in the "Your Score" tab :D

    Very well balanced and well designed MOBA. It's beautiful graphics is just icing on the cake. Their community is very dedicated and the company is constantly taking their reviews and ideas under advisement to better the game. They are still releasing heros, so the game is always changing with new tweaks and new strategies. I also really enjoy the length of the games, unlike DOTA2,Very well balanced and well designed MOBA.     Definitely the best MOBA on iOS, possibly one of the best games on iOS period. Was never a big fan of MOBAs in general. I had tried LOL, DOTA 2 and disliked them both, but I can't stop playing Vainglory.

    I am playing this game for almost a week now and I could say that I am somehow addicted to this game because it is similar to the MOBA I am playing on PC which is League of Legends. The graphics is nice as my iPad 2 can play it without any problem, the sfx and bgm are fine too. I suggest that keep releasing heroes every now and then so that players can have vast amount of heroes to chooseI am playing this game for almost a week now and I could say that I am somehow addicted to this game because it is similar to the MOBA I am playing on PC which is League of Legends. The graphics is nice as my iPad 2 can play it without any problem, the sfx and bgm are fine too. I suggest that keep releasing heroes every now and then so that players can have vast amount of heroes to choose from . 3v3 is ideal for mobile MOBA game as 5v5 would take a lot of time in a game and the device may encounter compatibility problem because of performance demand.

    Now, for the downside of this game. Many may already have said this, the game lacks in-game communication features, the 3 types of pings in the game is not enough and sometimes it just mislead other players. I know adding a chat feature wouldn't be enough so I would suggest adding a chat macro so it would at least allow us to convey messages faster and clearer. the chat macro is like a preset texts that we can see beside the screen (like the chat bars in most played moba games),Chat macro is not for typing in-game but instead we can customize it when we're off-game or in the main menu or in the party chat).

    Other downside of this game that I noticed is the auto-attack function. On one game I used Ringo and I know the radius of his attack range but there is this time that when I'm chasing an enemy hero and Ringo's attack keeps getting canceled whenever the enemy got out of ringo's attack range even though when the attack animation is casted while the enemy is in his range. I am very disappointed whenever this happens. You know, the feeling when your hero can attack it because it's in his/her range but because while your hero is winding up his attack, your enemy is out of your range anymore and your hero suddenly stops his attack and just chase it till it flee.

    I will give this a perfect score once I find a relevant update about this review. Thanks Super Evil Megacorp for making this game; Vainglory.

    This game is great but the developers need to help the players to fix a problem.Some players keep ruining the match.And some of my friend is telling me this game will be boring of this game keep using the same map and didn't add new hero. By the way I enjoy this game.

One thing about me is I was never fond of games like Vainglory, such as DOTA or LoL, so it was quite surprising for myself and the people around me when they saw me liking this game. The moment I played this game, I LOVED it. The controls and touchscreen, it was perfect. Add to that the fact that the developers are active in the forums and are very responsive. Surprisingly, it offers an equal playing field for free and paying players (pay at least a bit, they deserve it).

    The first MOBA I played. I've seen LoL, but I didn't really want to spend money on a new mac. This game is the best alternative for me and it plays well on my iPad.

You can manage fine without buying any premium currency.     +"Hybrid" builds can be a good idea if you have a good reason, so there is always that strategic possibility
    +The graphics and art are better than LoL and DotA.
    +The map is simple: one lane, one jungle, but it creates so many more choices than the classic 3-lane setup
    +The "meta" (meaning what kinds of characters should go in each lane) is even more flexible than DotA. I left LoL for DotA just for a more flexible meta (in LoL too many people fight over who gets to go mid). Most people will argue that it's 1 in the lane and 2 in the jungle, but who goes in the lane and who goes in the jungle is rarely agreed on, and what's more 2 in the lane can be just as strong, and 3 in the jungle can even be better if you're playing side-by-side irl with your team.
    +Since it's 3v3 you can easily get a team of people you know irl together
    +Mines, vainglory's version of wards, avoid all the fuss about "you must place wards here" and "you must buy wards", while still having just as much depth and even providing another strategic option where you use mines for damage (at the cost of a lot of gold if you overuse them)
    +It honestly feels less awkward to control. Moving that mouse and spam clicking is a huge barrier towards people new to MOBAs , while in vainglory you just...tap.
    +Lag has a minimal effect. It's hardly even noticeable, while in LoL it's easily game-breaking
    +AFKers (people who join but then don't play) are much more rare
    +Extremely well balanced game, I don't think there are any characters that are too weak or too strong

    These are pretty much the only cons I see in the game so far:
    -Occasionally glitches
    -There are only 11 characters so far
    -There are just as many people who will whine about their teammates, but a few more people who will have no idea what they are doing, since this game is on a mobile device
    -No way to tell people something other than "go here" or "don't go there"
    -It's possible to accidentally activate one of your active items and waste them like that, but on the other hand it's usually not that big of a deal and on the computer it's pretty easy to just forget about them    … Expand

    Not to lie, this game does have it's shortcomings, such as the lack of an in-game chat system and the single map. However, the reason I gave this a 9 is.for the fluid and dynamic gameplay, especially later on, the amazing graphics, and the highly active devs as well as a supportive community. With some improvements, this has the makings of a great game.

    Hands down best moba game,actually best game! It has great features and the devs are really helpful and have made a great community! The forums are nice and friendly and also the devs play twitch streams every friday against players, and in their twitch streams they do a Q&A. Vainglory was my go to game for 2014 and will probably be for 2015

    Vainglory might become the first title to bring quality core gaming that I enjoy to mobile platforms, while staying an f2p game with respectful and gentle monetization.

    I really love this MOBA game, despite the few drawbacks it now has, as I'm sure the devs will take care of all existing issues to make it even better in the future.

    the game is definatly on of te best in the appstore. it has a very unique map and jungle making the game even more enjoyable. The communication between the devs and the players is very good.

    Super sick game, loads of fun! Better head over the forums and form an awesome team if you want to reach a high skill tier! I prefer to play this game over my laptop games, I'm considering buying an ipad just for this game! While the buttons are very portioned, I tend to miss them sometimes.

The fact that there are so little bugs, and none of them game breaking is astonishing. They are a small team, but they are very in touch with their community and they know what it takes to keep their players happy and satisfied.

    If you've ever played a MOBA, you'll get right into it and see right away how a touch MOBA is far superior to a PC MOBA.

    If you've never played a MOBA, you'll be able to ease yourself into it and you'll find the mechanics easy to pick up and understand. There are a lot of gameplay elements that you will not understand right away because it is a completely new genre for you, so take your time and pay attention to the other players and the mini map. It doesn't only have awesome game play but the environment and details and art are very well thought of, great graphics too even when zoomed.     good moba game, unfortunately I've never seen such match making system ever really. I'm at max karma level and yet still come across lots of afk players. On top of that you are match against pre-made teams! You have no chance of winning it when you have feeders, afk players and yet there's no way to block them so that you will never end up with same players in the group again!     this game might not be that bad, but sitting the farthest away from your router results in a bad connection. I didn't even get past the tutorial because of the incredible lag that came, since the latency in other apps is still great when sitting so 'far' away from your router.     This is my first moba on my iPhone. The gameplay is fine, very well balanced, the graphics are gorgeous.

    With that said, I went into Vainglory with a totally open mind. Sure, I’d played League of Legends before and I’m only just getting to grips with Heroes of the Storm, but I’m still very much new to the game. It’s mostly because I’m not that much of a PC gamer. I’d rather relax in my bed, messing around with my iPad.

    So in comes Vainglory, the best of both worlds. It takes on a similar approach to PC MOBAs and throws it onto mobile, and it’s brilliant.

    You’re offered a select number of characters which are on rotation, you can either unlock them with real cash, or play the game to unlock them using Glory which is earned during play.

    These characters each have their own skillsets and play types, whether it’s melee or ranged, weapon based or magic based, and more.

    Initially you’re thrown into a fairly straightforward tutorial process which teaches you the basics of the game. You’ll be doing this for about half an hour, which for a mobile game demands a lot, but it’s totally worth it. Once complete you’ll then be tossed into the normal game mode which sticks you in a 3v3 PvP match.

    For those who want more lessons in Vainglory, the game also presents players hours and hours of videos showing off examples of gameplay and lessons for those who want to get into the thick of it.

    You can choose to play with other players, or dive into a game with bots. The latter game is considered more of a practice level than a co-op mode, which is a shame. The main mode however offers the most fun in either a Casual or Ranked game. Once five other players are found, you begin by choosing your character and being thrown directly into the game.

    Below the main lane is a forest with various different lane monsters each with their own buff (is that right?) once you’ve killed them. A little later on into the game three “mines” then open up. These mines offer two things. Two mines on either side of the forest, once claimed, further strengthen your minions, and one mine in the center of the map offers Gold bonuses and a chance to unleash the Kraken on your enemies.

    Well, there is a way to communicate, but it’s open to interpretation. Simply put, the game offers some auto messages in the form of emotes and icons. There’s a series of emotes from smileys, to thumbs up, to a simple “OK”, these can be used in response to situations or to other prompts such as arrows which can be pinged on the map, as well as targets, warnings, and question marks. Sometimes these emotes work, other times they can fall on deaf ears.. or should I say, eyes.

    In terms of how the games play out. MOBAs are all about clicking really so Vainglory translates pretty well on mobile though I only really have experience on the iPad version of the game, I can imagine on smaller phones it can be a little more difficult. The game responds to two finger tapping pretty well though allowing you to drag ahead on the minimap, and place a waypoint marker for your character to follow.    … Expand

Sure people are used to 2 jungles and 3 lanes or something similar, but that just means that this game is probably 'straight-forward' and, sometimes... New is better!
    This game also hold competitions where the winner get money and in-game currency! There are 2 types of in-game currency. Glory and Ice. Glory, you gain for normal matches, and Ice, you gain if you win competitions or you buy it. You can spend Glory to get characters
    There are also guilds and teams! All of the guilds get prizes at the end of the season! So be sure to join one, or create one! Though to make one you need Ice or Glory! As for teams, you're going to need teams for joining competitions! You have to meet online friends who you can split the money with, or you could convince your real friends in reality to help you!
    There are also many characters in this game! Also, a new character comes out every few months! Though for the first 1-2 weeks, you could only get those characters with Ice. After that, you could get the new characters with glory!
    I think I'm going to stop there... I don't want to spoil it too much for you guys! If you like to play Moba games then you should get this game!     This game has it all: graphics, skills, heroes, rewards, community. Plus, playing a MOBA on mobile has never felt so fun! It has great mechanics and you will always expect new stuff like heroes or skins.

    As a person who isnt traditionally a fan of MOBA games I was suprised to take such a liking to this game. Enjoyable and varied gameplay with a well balanced and varied cast of characters.
