    A clever and challenging spin on the tower defence genre, overlaid with an elaborate science fiction schtick which doesn't outstay its welcome.

    For those looking for a game that does tower defense differently, look no further. The combination of theme, gameplay and challenge should satisfy just about anyone who's interested in the genre. Though the high difficulty will be a deterrent for some I found it's definitely rewarding to build up your Gorg-smashing skills.

    The graphics are beautiful, with a familiar 1950s sci-fi look to all the ships and the limited sound effects and music complement this feel. There are loads of levels of alien blasting fun, several satellites and enemies to discover, brilliant cuts scenes – It's just a whole lot of ludicrous amusement and at just a few dollars, this is one game that I would gladly recommend.

    Unstoppable Gorg starts of like a pretty standard tower defense-game, but quickly introduces more depth and becomes one of the hardest games of its kind. Combine that with a dosage of good humor and fast gameplay, and it's a fun game when you have some time to kill. But it'll never keep you hooked for long.

It's good but not for me, since building towers and having the ability to move them (and without doing that i could not pass levels) actually takes away from the game, rather than giving to it; it makes things unnecessary complicated not something i want from a defense tower. Nonetheless, good game, good graphics, repetitive music (had to mute it after 2 minutes of listening to it), humoring story, funny cut-scenes. But i would strongly recommend Defense Grid over this title.… Full Review »
