    Ultimate Sackboy is a nice, colorful endless runner featuring the same mechanics of Subway Surfers and the main character of the LittleBigPlanet series, with many items you can unlock to customize your personal Sackboy.

    Iffy free-to-play model aside, Ultimate Sackboy is merely a competent runner that could use a lot more variety to keep things interesting. It's a beautiful-looking game but lacks much substance to keep me coming back. With future seasons and updates planned, this might improve, but for now, it remains okay.

    At its core, Ultimate Sackboy is a fun mobile platformer with charm and responsive controls. Its progression system, however, has that tell-tale restrained feel of a free-to-play game, where progress is slow if you keep your wallet in your pocket.

    No soul, no creativity, no ideas, but lots of ideas to get money out of you for microtransactions. Ultimate Sackboy contains none of the things that made LBP beloved by millions of gamers. Instead, all you'll find is boredom and, later on, frustration.
