    Pretty good mobile RPG.

In my opinion the combat system is the biggest selling point of the game and has been crafted very well: Over the course of your playthrough you'll receive combat cards with different attacks, buffs, perks and stats. The system is very clever and one has to think hard about how to distribute those cards amongst your party, especially to survive later boss fights.

This adds a great tactical layer that is amiss in a lot of other mobile games which mostly are about timing one's swipes and/or taps right.

    Pros:
    - Great, varying and tactically challenging (card) fighting system
    - How to best distribute your loot/gear amongst your player adds another layer of depth to the combat
    - Varied quests
    - No iAPs

    Cons:
    - No map (The area isn't that big but sometimes you don't know which direction to go though so at least a mini map would have been a comfortable addition)
    - Too little variety in enemies. Especially later in the game a lot of fights start to feel rather repetitive.
    - Character moves pretty slowly especially in towns/dungeons
    - No customizing of characters and their stats other than with the three gear slots

The game has been a lot of fun and a very entertaining mobile RPG experience - One of the rather rare instances I wholeheartedly agree with TA's review. When - a few months ago - I commenced another playthrough I stopped playing about two thirds in though. The little variety in enemies paired with them being scattered across the map in abundance (especially later in the game) led me to lower my initial score of 9 from a few years ago to 8 (probably doesn’t matter anyway as there’s likely one person a year who reads the review about this game, if at all - But still wanna be honest ^^): Doing the same fights over and over again - even though your tactics change a bit thanks to new cards - just got too repetitive over time.

Anyway, you‘re getting great fun and value for a few bucks with this game. If you like card-RPG hybrids you can‘t really go wrong with a purchase.

This rpg has a pretty neat card-based combat system, but the rest of it is pretty lackluster.

Trulon is another strong effort from a developer that clearly knows what they're doing in this genre.
