    It improves on the first game, but not enough to warrant the high price.

    The real kicker, though, is the price. Namco Bandai gives away the short prologue free of charge, then asks for a ridiculous $8.99 to unlock the rest of the game. If you have the cash to burn, Time Crisis: 2nd Strike HD is a solid purchase, but we suggest waiting for a price drop, or going with the cheaper iPhone version.

    A game that suffers more in its execution than it does its technical capacity.

    The visceral thrill of actually aiming and firing at marauders and thugs simply cannot be replaced by tapping on a small screen. But the bottom line is that I just did not enjoy Time Crisis 2nd Strike.
