    Sims 3 Travel Adventure is certainly a successful expansion, but due to the fact that the price is high, it's a title recommended to those who have not played the series before.

    The Sims 3 World Adventures is a Sims game, so it can't fail at being engaging and fun. But exploring the world with your Sim is as demanding and tedious as traveling with a toddler.

    Menial tasks and lame mini-games weigh down the fun in what ought to have been a thrilling extension of The Sims 3.

    The Sims 3 World Adventures offer very little in terms of Sims gameplay, but the good production values save the final score. The fact that you can import and export the Sims between the Sims 3 and World Adventures is also a big positive factor to the game.
