Thanks to some super-challenging puzzles, unique presentation elements, and the tease of a possible prize for those who see all 60 levels through to the end, The Heist manages to take a number of old elements and turn them into something compelling.

Overall, The Heist is a really well designed and fun puzzle game for the iPhone. If you're a fan of solving challenging puzzles, you'll get a kick out of this game and its creative bank robbery premise gives it extra fuel for success.

The puzzles are a bit old hat, but still super addictive. [Sept 2011, p.93]

In isolation, all would be entertaining if rather sterile. But in the context of the heist and the pretend phone-calls from the lovely Sophia, The Heist proves greater than the sum of its parts.

For less than a buck, you are getting 60 puzzles to solve as well as a clever presentation to go along with it. The only major drawback to The Heist is there are few, if any, original gameplay concepts introduced.
