The game monetisation is very aggresive in a bad way (15$ for a weapon about 5x better than the normal is pay to win). Also the weapon will be obsolete after 1 week, where you'll get another offer for 15$+ for a better weapon.
Skipping wait time to open chest is another monetisation path, equally as bad as most chest give worthless content in comparaison with paid weapon.
Disclaimer: I played the game on Android (Note S8). On the teach side the game is extremely janking, skipping frame all the time. The lack of dynamic character shadow break the immersion quite a bit.
The amount of loading screen is quite impressive, and they end up being very long.
I'm not sure what to praise about that game, it's probably worth 0/10 but I don't want to be that mean to a franchise I love.

A scummy piece of rubbish designed for 1 purpose - to fleece money out of young kids who are too inexperienced to understand the gamified free-to-wait exploitation that is this game. This takes Bethesda to EA levels of corporate evil

This game is a soulless, meaningless grind. Character customization is bland, framerates are choppy (for reference, I'm playing on a Galaxy S8), loot is boring and the crafting system is ATROCIOUS. The economy is poorly balanced and smashes you over the head with micro transactions CONSTANTLY, totally ruining immersion.

The economy is poorly balanced and smashes you over the head with micro transactions CONSTANTLY, totally ruining immersion.

The deepest combat gets is twitch reacting to hit your shield fast enough to block a blow, a pain and difficult given the way we hold phones. God forbid you're a gamer with some form of physical disability, it would be impossible to play. Play sessions longer than 15 minutes PHYSICALLY start to hurt!

Loot boxes are doled out constantly, with appropriate pavlovian conditioning animation effect, and require timers to unlock; what POSSIBLE reason could there be to require the 5 second timer on the smallest box? It's that it costs a gem to speed up the timer! Add to that the slight delay between clicking to START opening the loot box and the animation actually starting, and you might make the silly mistake of clicking again to start, by which time everything has caught up and you've just spent a precious sum of your premium currency without confirmation! It's so transparently a greedy move to suck away the sparse amount you are doled out that it's frankly infuriating!

Remember that feeling you had when you last played Skyrim of opening a dwemer tomb, killing a dragon or finding a hidden cache of valuable treasure? Yea, you're not going to find it here. Only RSI and exploitative microtransactions lie ahead. This game feels like it was designed by a board of consultants whom in their free time develop Slot Machines, attend EA executive board meeting and relax by returning to the 32nd layer of hell after a day of "work". It provides no sense of accomplishment or reward; it merely taps into those primitive parts of the brain that turns a person into an addict. That I hate it SO much but still have it installed is but one of many a good reason to stay well clear of this absolute garbage.

The game is terribly monotonous, there is nothing interesting in it.
Оver advertising have worked more than on the game itself...
it was my last purchased game from ZenMax & Bethesda

After 3h of play time I have accumulated a whopping 28h of net wait time. Waiting for loot boxes to open. And to open those quickest - I would have to wake up every hour, open the app and click a few things. So effectively I can't play for a week until everything is opened.
Alternatively I could pay, but even that would cost me £5 for just 3h of play time. What If I played another 3h, it

The game itself is so repetitive, there are only 3 randomly assembled dungeons, you'll have seen it all after an hour or so. No voice over, no interesting story lines, the combat is meh, the sound is not always coming from wherever the enemy is. It's all a big mess, not worth even a smaller microtransaction. Stay away from this one!

This is a joke right todd? This is just give todd money the game. You literally can't play without shilling out hundreds of dollars just to open chests.

I have been a Elder Scrolls fan since the very first game and I have been playing them since my introduction as a teen, into my middle age. These games have always been a wonderful distraction from my rather mediocre life.

What Bethesda Softworks have done with this game is nothing less than criminal. They have a very devoted group of fans who will pretty much thow money at anything

What Bethesda Softworks have done with this game is nothing less than criminal. They have a very devoted group of fans who will pretty much thow money at anything Bethesda Softworks has ever published and with good reason, they have been considered a legendary game developer.

It saddens me that I have lived long enough to see this, to see them destroy a franchise like Fallout and then twist one of their most beloved franchises into the horror show that is Elder Scrolls: Blades.

As far as I am concearned, Bethesda's behavior is criminal. They took the good will and trust of their fans and attempt to twist something near and dear to them into a laughing stock of some of the worst example of gaming known on the planet.

I don't know if I could ever trust them again.

A game built entirely around the monetization, not the other way around. What the hell, Bethesda?

Pros: Traditionally beautiful elder scrolls graphics and sound. Easy to use interface. Fun tutorial.

Cons: linear game play...there is little open world game play here. Navigation is clumsy. Biggest issue: this is not an elder scrolls experience. This is Bethesda’s cash grab attempt at a time-based environment improvement game. A review I reposted on the apple store captures this

Never seen a game with less than 1 on the rating scale. Who said Bethesda don't innovate?

One of the worst games i have ever played. Stay away. It's a scam calculated on sucking as much money of you as possible. Loot boxes and gems extravaganza. And above all it's empty and boring. No redeeming qualities at all.

Runs bad, boring and full of P2W elements, the perfect Cash-Grab game. It's a shame Bethesda is not what it used to be.

The game is over-monetized as hell. Mediocre gameplay, no innovation. Certainly not a true Elder Scrolls game at its heart, Todd. :(

This game shouldn't exist. It's an insult to TES fans and with Fallout 76 represents the deterioration of Bethesda. Please, don't download it and even less , pay microtransactions.

Just as others already pointed it out enough. It is just a garbage mobile cash grab game. One point for the visuals.

Would rather recommend to buy a Skyrim Legendary Edition Steam Key for unter 10 bucks and have fun with it for hundreds of hours. What is it with these games telling me when I can play it and to get stuff I have to long on several times a day, a sad development.

It is 2020 and the game has changed actually a lot. Timers for chests have been removed and even if the game still requires you to wait sometimes it doesn't feel obnoxious. I've always liked the navigation and especially the combat system however navigating through dungeons could be more engaging. Overall I think this game succeeds in being what it was mean to be- a doungeon crawler. Lets not forget that this is a mobile game so by design it's not meant to be played longer than 30 minutes in one session (people play this on the go not in their homes when able to play on their console/pc). I do not agree with other reviews. This game is pretty good. The Elder Scrolls Blades is far from being perfect, but at the same time it is not so horrible as described by others. The game is very beautiful - I really love its dungeons, ancient ruins, arenas and my town. There is a lot of various enemies with good design and animation. By the way, currently I have 43 level which has been reached without spending any real money. I will wait for future updates with PvP, new quests and challenges. Expand

The controls seem to have gotten better. Perhaps Bethesda replaced the square tires with octogon shaped tires. Meaning, not much of an improvement. It's been almost been 7 months and little has been done to better this game. The game has frequent framerate drops, which is more apparent in the abyss.
I will rate this game a 2. To be honest, yal deserve a 1. Maybe yal need to quit listening

In the future, if anyone is going to rate this game, focusing on the graphics is a fools errand. Graphics mean nothing when the base game is saturated in bullcrap and the game lacks any meaningful gameplay. Yes I'm talking to you Asmundd.

Sometimes I don`t get the point of playing this game. My phone struggle with just a few problems with fps, but in the caves... the cave locations are extremely badly optimized, therefore in some places I literally have 2-3 fps. I wrote a beta test review in Google Play when I could not enter into game due to loading the same dungeon, but devs did`t even respond to me

Even if it has some good ideas and it’s well adapted to this new platform, The Elder Scrolls Blades has also many flaws. A perfectible movement system, broken core mechanics, glitches… There’s still some work to do.
