Dec 16, 2025There are a few niggles surrounding Symphonica: the story's ridiculous, there's far too much cut-scene waffling and the beats are ever so slightly off, but we had a huge amount of fun playing the game. Anyone who enjoys rhythm games should definitely check it out.

Dec 16, 2025On a mechanical level at least, Symphonica is a decent rhythm-action game, with lots to keep your fingers busy across a variety of proven tunes, but the overall presentation and attention to detail lacks the x factor that iNiS is best known for. Yes, it's a comeback, but it's not quite the comeback we hoped for.

Nov 6, 2012Square Enix and iNis could have built a worthy and lasting entry into the rhythm game space with moving classical music setting it apart. Instead, they took the focus off the music and the gameplay and put it on an unnecessary and unoriginal story.
