    The PvP duels in Lost Centuria offer a lot of depth and reward players who grapple with the different monster abilities and spells, the counter mechanic, the upgrade system, the element dependencies and the setup of formations. Matchmaking also worked pretty well and the game - at least for now - allowed good progress without investing real money. It’s just a shame that story elements take a back seat here.

    Summoners War: Lost Centuria manages to present a peculiar approach to the gacha RPG. It's deep and strategic, and its relying on PvP matches makes it an engaging game far from the autoplay standards.

Ce sont évidemment des références positives, auxquelles ce nouveau-né ne fait pas déshonneur, et qu'il dépasse même potentiellement dans les promesses stratégiques et l'expérience de jeu au global.

    Graphiquement beaucoup plus mature que Sky Arena, et surfant lui aussi sur la fièvre de la collectionnite et des mécaniques d'invocations de cartes, Lost Centuria met, lui, l'accent sur le PvP. Evidemment, c'est un parti pris qui ne conviendra pas à tous, celui graphique déstabilisant également potentiellement les fans de Sky Arena d'ailleurs. Mais pour ceux qui à l'inverse étaient moins sensibles aux charmes PvE de Sky Arena ou au design old gen de ce dernier, c'est au contraire un tournant qui peut enfin les faire s'intéresser à la licence.

    Les mécaniques de Gatcha sont hélas toujours insistantes, et si il reste possible de tout faire en free to play sur le long terme, les plus riches et dépensiers auront évidemment toujours un train d'avance, y-compris en réalité dans leurs perspectives compétitives. Mais il faut reconnaître que l''équilibre reste assez bien trouvé, à l'instar d'un Clash Royale par exemple. C'est donc un aspect qui ne nuira pas sensiblement à l'expérience de jeu et n'empêchera pas ceux qui sont conquis par des mécaniques assez innovantes (système de contres, déroulement des parties, etc). C'est bien un jeu très prometteur qui nous est livré par Com2Us.    … Expand
