Jun 2, 2017Subdivision Infinity is a slick-looking shooter that offers excellent action and accessible, arcade-style gameplay. It's a straightforward game that has a few nasty difficulty spikes here and there, and it will definitely test both your skills and patience at times. That said, the pure thrill of zipping around and shooting down a pack of enemies more than balances out those frustrating moments. It isn't much more than a weekend's worth of joy, but it's a weekend well-spent, to be sure.

Oct 31, 2017There's a decent chunk of space-based action here, but it loses its shine perhaps a little too quickly.

Oct 31, 2017Subdivision Infinity looks great in screenshots, but its presentation of space is very one-dimensional. The game revolves completely around repetitive missions to upgrade ships, which leaves a lot to be desired. For the same price (or less) than Subdivision Infinity, you can get a much better space game experience on mobile.

Jun 29, 2017What beggared my belief is the question of why this “buy once play forever” game utilises all the cheap and nasty tricks from the freemium books. I can only conclude there is a core design problem with Subdivision Infinity, perhaps to do with it originally being conceived as freemium but then turned into premium due to rival releases. Regardless, the end result is a very mechanical affair of short dog fighting followed by lots of tediousness for the sole sake of getting a slightly better ship with which to fight slightly superior enemies in the next round. In the year of our Goddess 2017, this - Subdivision Infinity - is simply not good enough.
