    Speed Forge Extreme is an action packed space-themed racer which both looks and feels the part. In my experience I really felt like I was playing a WipEout spin-off (in a good way), plus the game's accelerometer controls are the smoothest I've seen on any App Store title to date.

    Replay value is moderate, as the unlockable craft offer a different experience on levels where they were previously unavailable. The gameplay is fun and engaging, enough so to create a desire to pick it up and play now and again.

    While Speed Forge Extreme really is the best of the bunch so far, it still has a ways to go before it can reach the platforms full potential of the genre.

    It's a high-octane racing game with great graphics and energetic soundrack that is fun and captivating to play for as long as it lasts. If there were more ways to play or a possible way to add in app purchases for different weapon sets, more tracks, or better vehicles, you'd have a classic.

    Speed Forge Extreme did a great job with executing with the controls, and the tilt was flawless along with the inclusion of touch controls; another yet flawless implementation.

    Despite not offering anything revolutionary and lacking multiplayer, Speed Forge Extreme manages to do something even more impressive: feel entirely at home on iPhone.

    My current favorite futuristic racer in the App Store. The camera angle, the well done tracks, the visual effects, the excellent sense of speed - they all come together to deliver what really does feel like a "console" title on the iPhone.
