    One of the advantages of this being a port of a classic game is that there is far more content – more scenarios and ways to play them – than would be invested in an original iOS game.

    Much in the same way as the lightweight strategy suits the platform, there just aren’t all that many engaging civ-lite games on mobile devices, making Legion strangely appealing in spite of its faults. It’s very much a game on the right platform at a lucky moment.

    Legion on the PC was less than bad in the first place, why they transplanted it to the iOS is beyond logic. I had a chance to sit down and play this at a friends house and switched to playing poker on Facebook within minutes. The GUI is outdated and control of forces is difficult while playing with type of game on a mobile device. The developer should have taken notes from Battlefront's Combat Mission: Touch because they surely dropped the ball here. Pass on this one folks.… Full Review »
