    The basic mechanics reward mastery without being overly complicated, and it just feels good to zip around dungeons like a little whirling dervish of destruction.

    Slashy Hero is a cute and accessible roguelike with an incredibly satisfying and well-executed swipe-based combat system.

    Slashy Hero is fun – it’s just also a little irritating at times. But it does make for a good dungeon-crawling (ish) romp and makes good use of the kind of swiping mechanics you don’t see often outside of games involving air traffic control or harbor management.

    Fun little game with tight controls, but the dungeons quickly grow repetitive.
