Six-Guns is not a true clone of Red Dead Redemption, as you might expect. It's indeed a fast-paced third person shooter, with lots of missions to complete, some very nice graphics and a large world to explore.

Six-Guns is a step in the right direction for freemium games, but it falls short of Gameloft's console-quality mobile games.

Six Guns feels like a missed opportunity. While it starts off an enjoyable enough romp, the issues mentioned start to have an impact on the overall enjoyment.

Six Guns is a solid game with great graphics and some nice handling, but it feels hollow and bare. With no story to tie the game together and a freemium model that is all too ready to prompt you towards the store, it ends up missing the target.

In visual and gameplay terms, this freemium action title hits the bullseye, but the complete absence of any kind of storyline robs it of purpose.

Six-Guns comes closer than any other freemium title to providing an experience that's packed with action and worth coming back to time and again, but its lack of a narrative and repetitive quests remind you far too often that you're playing a freemium title that's designed around its 'store' button.

Six-Guns manages to snatch mediocrity out of the jaws of greatness. It's by no means a terrible title, but it is remarkably shallow, unpolished, and repetitive. That's heartbreaking, honestly, because no one should ever have to use that last sentence when describing a game about cowboys fighting vampires.

The experience isn't that rewarding, and in the end you might feel that you actually wasted bandwidth downloading the 422 MB. Freemium games can be good, but in the case of Six-Guns it feels like a way to avoid spending time writing a proper story.

But the one horrible thing about this game is the amount charged for extra money. 99.99 for a "barn of coins." Seriously? This game has potential but doesn't use it well. Full Review »

There is no storyline, you just complete the same four mission archetypes over and Horse races, raid the fort, rescue the hostage, and shoot the targets over and over and over and over again in slightly different settings as you level up. It is technically open world, but the map is devoid of anything exciting. To buy like 85% of the weapons you have This is a horrible cash milker by game loft. Full Review »
