Games Master UKJan 17, 2013A blindingly gorgeous shooter and an absolute bargain. [Feb 2013, p.92]
-
Nov 25, 2012The game is a relatively fun deathmatch title, though its technical issues and general lack of maps as well are a killer at the moment.
-
Nov 25, 2012As a free release, DeadZone is a terrific, if buggy online-only shooter that blurs the line between mobile and console gaming.
-
Dec 4, 2012You can see that Shadowgun: Deadzone has potential, but it's also largely unfinished, with lots of lag, serious crashes and few contents. It's free to download though, so it's easy to recommend to try it and eventually keeping your fingers crossed for some huge upgrades.
-
Apr 11, 2013It is indeed better, more complete and entertaining than the first version, but still we think there's something missing. The freemium concept makes its offer more accessible, so if you're a fan of the genre it's worth a try.
-
Nov 27, 2012Gorgeous to look at but ultimately frustrating to play, Shadowgun: DeadZone needs a lot of work before it becomes the finished article.
-
Nov 27, 2012Unfortunately, Shadowgun: DeadZone is a technical mess. The game crashes almost as often as it works, and when it does work the online lag will make it seem like players are practically teleporting across the map.
