    Despite the token system limiting gameplay, Scramble with Friends is in a three-way tie between Words with Friends and Crosswords as my favorite iOS word game.

    Offers what might be the most ideal word game in the series yet. The rounds are long enough to be engaging but short enough that you can play them in between other things. This coupled with the refined and accessible "With Friends" structure makes Scramble With Friends one of the better asynchronous mobile games available today.

    Short but sweet, Scramble With Friends is a game designed exclusively for the socially-enabled wordplay fan. That said, Zynga With Friends has delivered an addictive puzzler for those willing to engage with friends and randoms alike.

    Waaaay better than Words with Friends. I play strangers instead of inviting actual friends because that is so annoying. Makes my brain feelWaaaay better than Words with Friends. One thing that is irritating about this game is that people are allowed to pay for extra tools, so it dumbs down the game and you never know if the person you're playing is genuinely a word wiz or just a rich kid with too many advantages.… Full Review »
