    Even with a few minor quips, this a fantastic port of a classic that is immediately accessible and works in both ten minute bursts or a long weekend session. Essential.

    It’s difficult to shake the feeling that Atari’s management felt guilty for foisting the hellishly bad free-to-play Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 on fans, and RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is its apology for doing so. This is an excessive game with almost too much content and replay value, and is devilishly difficult to put down once you start playing.

    It’s an excellent compilation of a classic simulation title with nothing lost in its transition to iOS. If you’re a simulation fan there’s really no reason not to pick this amazing game.

    One especially great part of RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is how it can introduce younger gamers to the series, and indeed, both my kids were clamoring for some time with it over their holiday break. Think of it as something of a combination love letter to the originals and apology note for the series’ previous foray into mobile, one that proves successful on both fronts.

    It's as great as a game can be on iOS. The controls aren't as nice as they are on PC, but it gets the job done. Much better on iPad thanIt's as great as a game can be on iOS. It combines elements from the first two games into one enjoyable package and it brings back all the memories I had playing these games years ago. Touch controls will take getting used to, however.
