    I am telling you right now, DO NOT buy this game. It is just a continuation of a trend in mobile gaming, developers adding in disgusting in-app purchases to try and suck money out of you.

    In case you haven't heard, Atari recently (kind of) filed for bankruptcy. They need any money they can get at this point, but this game has no similarity to previous RCT games, and only bears the name    I am telling you right now, DO NOT buy this game. It is just a continuation of a trend in mobile gaming, developers adding in disgusting in-app purchases to try and suck money out of you.

    In case you haven't heard, Atari recently (kind of) filed for bankruptcy. They need any money they can get at this point, but this game has no similarity to previous RCT games, and only bears the name of RollerCoaster Tycoon to try and suck you into a game that really is just timers and paywalls. Atari has pretty much stomped all over what we've grown up on, and after 10 years, this is what we get?

    And even worse, this game is $2.99 (at least in Canada, may be different in other countries). There are tons of games like this that are FREE. Atari is, quite obviously, using the RCT name to try and make you pay $2.99 for a game that is pushing you to pay even more in IAP. I'm telling you, don't waste your time and money on this terrible excuse of a game, if you want to even call it that, because you'll be waiting more than you'll be playing (unless you buy tickets with real, hard-earned money).    … Expand

    So not only does this crap excuse for a game rob you of $3.99, but then on top of it, they filled the game to the brim with microtransactions. It's another prime example of game developers trying to milk their customers out of as much money as possible. If you want to play RollerCoaster Tycoon, go back and play the original two, but not this atrocity.

    Whatever you do, don't buy this pile or garbage. What's worse, is that it still has MICRO F**KING TRANSACTIONS. 2 types as well. Don't give Atari your money at the moment, they have gone half-bankrupt, and have absolutely trashed the RCT series with this "game". Don't buy it even if your life depended on it.

    This game is a terrible cash grab. Horrible attempt to make money with as minimal of effort as possible. Every conceivable thing in this game feels rushed, and its just saddening that they put the number 4 in the title.

    This is a blatant insult to any Rollercoaster Tycoon fan, or indeed anybody with a wallet and an iPhone. Nothing seems to be sacred in this trend of cash grab rehashes of classic games. I can only hope these pitiful attempts to milk money from the nostalgic won't continue for much longer.

    Atari's financials maybe in turmoil but RCT4 Mobile is probably the best example of what not to do with a long-beloved franchise when finances start laying down the pain.    … Expand

Why is this thing asking me to take out my REAL wallet to buy a roller coaster or hamburger stand? Simulation games are and should be exactly that.     Its so bad it sickens me. In-App purchases are something, but a $2.99 (In Australia) is even worse. This game just uses the RcT name and dumps a lot of in app purchases and ruins the gaming experience.

    Only someone who hates both fun and money should purchase this game. All the enjoyment you could possibly get out of playing a roller coast tycoon game, has been sucked out and replaced by microtransactions. I would get more enjoyment out of murdering everyone I loved. And it would be cheaper as well.

    I played Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and I loved it. This, however, is a disgrace. Don't buy this game, don't even THINK about buying this game. It's just another bad mobile game that tries to lead you in and make you give them a large amount of your money just to play it.

    Don't get this game unless you hate yourself.

    Would rather wipe my ass with sand paper will sticking electrical wires in my mouth burning my tongue off. Would then attach part of my nerves system to it so I can still fell pain and wipe it on the sand paper before dieing by bleeding to death.

    I'm going to be honest, I didn't think it was possible for a game to be this bad.
    But then Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile came along.

    Instead of playing this game, I recommend you find a nice solid brick wall and repeatedly bash your head against it.
    You'll have much more fun.

    This game is so bad as it is worse than the first one that came out in the 90's. It's ruined a great series with load times and micro-transactions. And the worst thing is that this isn't even free. So all in all you are paying for something that you over time will pay more money into.     This game is nothing more than a steaming pile of horse **** and a complete rushed cash grab, it puts the entire franchise to shame this is NOT RCT4 is "Mobile" crap cash grab crap! A PC version of RCT4 is currently in development and going to be for real this time hopefully.

Depending on your tastes, this may or may not be a good thing. You have to wait for rides to finish building and the iPad version chrases once in a while, but with a bit of patience it can be a decently fun experience.

    And I thought Zoo tycoon was Bad! This crap is even worse than that s*it game, Dungeon Keeper... Hell, the user score of Ride to Hell Retribution makes it look like a pushover. 'Scuse me got to go to episode 4 of TWD "Amid The Ruins".

RollerCoaster Tycoon the first, was indeed (and coincidentally with the title,) my first game that I ever played. It was so deeply intuitive and at the time of low res graphics and minimal computing power was absolutely amazing. Imagine making a game with only 64 megabytesOh dear god, what were they thinking with this series? I hold the Tycoon series VERY close to my heard and childhood. RollerCoaster Tycoon the first, was indeed (and coincidentally with the title,) my first game that I ever played. It was so deeply intuitive and at the time of low res graphics and minimal computing power was absolutely amazing. Imagine making a game with only 64 megabytes of RAM, a 1.3 GHz single core processor, and show graphics, process the AI and display an entire functioning theme park seamlessly? It was pure magic. RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 was really the height of the franchise bearing the last game that had the entire Chris Sawyer touch on it. The 3rd installment felt somewhat removed from that low 8-bit graphics styling but it felt fresh and somewhat true to the series (disregarding the product placements in it.)

    This just outright stabs in series, wraps in a body bag and dumps in a lake. Only coming out with a iOS release and having really bad and concerningly sh*tty UI, forced low graphics because of the iOS release and MICRO-TRANSACTIONS! Are you bloody series? Have we not made it clear yet in the game industry that we're fairly opposed to this?

    I hear rumors of a PC release and if that becomes true, than I have to hardly ever acknowledge a foreseeing installment in the series or any future updates to it. I'll have to see my childhood game torn down and broken in micro-transactions. Coming from Atari, this is truly despicable.

    The series is done, no more can happen to change that. Maybe someday a reboot of the earlier version will happen on KickStarter (oh wait am I saying, of course it will happen.)    … Expand

First of all, you can't build rollercoasters, only pre-built ones are allowed to be selected.     While my mother loves this game and spends hours on it, more than once it has stopped working completely with the only remedy to completely restart.     A good idea for the company ruined by money grabbing and facebook-style ads. Was looking forward to it but it is just a waste of money. Greedy creators!! Do not buy, just buy RCTW when it comes out in December.

    This game has recently been made free - unfortunately it still contains microtransactions, some that are upwards of £100 (which could buy you 30 copies of RCT1).

    But at least it's now 10% of the way there to being passable.
