Rocket Cars is an exhilarating racing experience that is jam packed with chaotic action making it a must have.

Rocket Cars is a middle-of-the-road racer, so to speak, and motoring down the road while performing simple swipe-based stunts is satisfying in its own right.

Rocket Cars is an average racer. The game has some good ideas and features, but lacks a multiplayer mode and scalable difficulty. Considering the handful of excellent racing games available for smartphones and tablets, this one is tough to recommend.

The racing and game mechanics work, but there's nothing very special or engaging about it. Doing a string of tricks or grabbing power-upsThe racing and game mechanics work, but there's nothing very special or engaging about it. Doing a string of tricks or grabbing power-ups isn't exciting, and winning races just feels tedious, especially since you only play a handful of modes on the same ten or so empty, boring racecourses for the entire duration of the game. Progressing through the game in general is always halted by an "energy" bar that depletes every time you race and recharges over time. Only five races can be played at a time, but an infinite energy bar can be bought for $6.99, which is incredibly stupid. The game is by no means pay-to-win, it just takes forever to get through, and absolutely nothing happens once you beat all 77 levels. Definitely a waste of time. Expand
