    RISK is still a solid, fun game; how could it not be? Strategy fans and RISK faithful in particular should enjoy it; the epic, sprawling games are highly engaging. Just be aware that there are many, many clones…some of which surely outshine this stripped-down port.

    More features for 'RISK: The Official Game' would have been nice, but it's otherwise a solid RISK title with no more than the basics you need to get going.

    But the toughest hurdle to clear here is the lack of online multiplayer. Risk needs this and it needs it pronto. Without it, I cannot recommend it – especially at this price.

    Risk on the iPhone is a good game by default, but the experience of using it is poor. Risk fails to bring features already available in games such as Carcassone, forcing players to sit huddled about their iPhone screens for a lengthy strategy session.
