    It can be repetitive at times and I personally don't think it will be a game that keeps players constantly coming back for more. Having said that, I do think the price of $0.99 is fair and the game is a nice addition to the retro-themed genre.

    All in all, this is a great compendium with lashings more style than any of its closest rivals. But there's a snag: these are the only two games included, and two games do not a compendium make. There's a placeholder for a third mini-game, but as yet the digital cupboard is bare.

    A great visual style and a whole heap of retro charm can't quite lift Recess Riot to the top of the playground pecking order.

    If you enjoy jump rope and dodgeball with a lot of customization and special moves, Recess Riot should give you some entertainment.
