Derivative because it's essentially a copy of Tower of Saviors which, in turn, is clearly inspired by Puzzle and Dragons, but this is not its main problem.
Playing the (long) tutorial and training quests showed many things I didn't like: first, there's no reason to commit the player in starting a killing spree, involving mostly little girls (even a harmless game like angry birds gives you a reason to smash the pigs!) but, most importantly, there's a scripted death in one shot in the third battle to later show you how to reinforce your team by buying expensive equipment by using diamonds (the in game currency).
To an adult this is confusing (I actually wondered if I was paying actual money for the premium item or if this was a "free gift") but it can be dangerously exploitative with a kid, making him believe he can easily get power packs for free thanks to diamonds (that his dad will have to pay for).
To sum it up, I found this disappointing and I will stick the games that inspired this cute but cunning title.…Full Review »
