Jul 1, 2011When it comes to well-planned zaniness, Puzzle Agent 2 delivers in spades.
-
Jul 5, 2011Puzzle Agent 2 delivers everything fans of the original were looking for – more puzzles, more Scoggins strangeness, and some proper answers to a mystery that was only half solved in the first game.
-
Feb 20, 2026A gem, and a nice change of pace for those who don't think of catapulting birds or slashing ropes as true puzzles.
-
Feb 20, 2026Puzzle Agent 2 is an excellent title that draws its strength from its Professor Layton concept, as well as its wacky and humourous universe. Sadly, the lack of French localisation means this is intended primarily for English speakers.
-
Aug 5, 2011Puzzle Agent 2 still has issues. Puzzles aren't balanced well enough and often arrive at the detriment of the story. Taken as a whole, though, I enjoyed my stay in Scoggins for a second time and fans of the first game won't be disappointed with this sequel either.

Jul 1, 2011Funny and surreal, Puzzle Agent 2 is a case well worth reopening.
-
Aug 1, 2011A competent continuation of the franchise featuring solid wit, devilish puzzles, and one of the most inventive adventure game characters: Scoggins. If you're a fan of Puzzle Agent, there's no need to skip this.
-
Feb 20, 2026Despite some truly awful sections to put up with, enough of the old magic remains to make it worth sticking with if you loved the original. The real puzzle is how Telltale let it out of the door in this state.
-
Aug 30, 2011While those curious about the unsolved mysteries from the first game get some much-needed answers, the puzzles used to forward the story are rehashed and noticeably easier.
-
Jul 20, 2011The bigger issue is that I rarely found the puzzles particularly challenging.
-
Jul 7, 2011The plot may be filled with sub-Lynchian fumbles, but it weaves an intriguing story, while the charismatic muddle of awards that accompanies each solution goes some way to wiping away the grey memory of what you're actually being congratulated for.
