    It's by no means perfect, but it is a refreshing change of pace for tower-building lovers, even if genre newcomers would be better served by other titles on the App Store.

    The controls in Pocket Minions are terrible. It is way too easy to accidentally tap something, and it feels like half the time what I meant to tap was something besides what I did. It's just so busy, there's no room for the minions to breathe, and all the interface elements are just extremely cluttered. This is as true on the iPad as it is on the iPhone.

    It's funny how fitting an analogy the main characters of this title are for the game itself. There's too much to do here and not enough of a reason to do it. Pocket Minions is one of the rare occasions where ambition works against a game.
