    Pocket Heroes shows immense promise and is plenty interesting as-is when everyone is active. But that's the rub. Only time will tell if it will become a hub of activity or a complete ghost town.

    I'd rather pay more for the game up-front and know that gold drops are balanced. When they implement random players, I hope they also add some sort of "party management" system allowing inactive players to be dropped and replaced.

    A fun, if simple, async RPG experience that makes you glad to have friends.

    It's these gameplay and programming issues that keep Pocket Heroes from being an amazing game, but every problem that I've listed seems easily fixable in future updates. Even if it isn't perfect in its current form, Pocket Heroesis a fun experience that is both unique and nostalgic. With a few gameplay tweaks, it could easily become a must-have for all RPG gamers alike.
