A really well made port. It almost feels like a native ios game. The graphics look marvelous, although it took a little while to get used to the 3D rendered Phoenix. The transition from 2D sprites to 3D animated characters makes the game much more appealing to the eye. The addition of anime cutscenes were also a welcome plus, though I wish there were more of them.

Phoenix Wright can feel a little more of the same when it comes to case structures, but it's execution, animation, and characters really shine in this one. Also users without a dual chip processor (

Sadly, I never really got to play the 3DS version, but this port is good. moving on, the game itself. the finale case is one of the single best cases in the series, so good that the only cases better than it are from DGS2 and SoJ, which are 2 of the best games in the series. every other case is good too, but it's really cases 3, 4, and 5 that spoke to me as being truly exceptional. case 1Sadly, I never really got to play the 3DS version, but this port is good. moving on, the game itself. the finale case is one of the single best cases in the series, so good that the only cases better than it are from DGS2 and SoJ, which are 2 of the best games in the series. every other case is good too, but it's really cases 3, 4, and 5 that spoke to me as being truly exceptional. case 1 was a decent intro, case 2 was ok, and case 6 absolutely blew. even with how absolutely horrendous case 6 was, this game is still fantastic for 3,4, and 5 alone. Thankfully, Capcom has done a stellar job this time around by implementing an intuitive control scheme coupled with beautiful HD textures that brings this lengthy 30 hour game to life.

Format release concerns aside, Dual Destinies is a smartly-crafted, fantastic-looking Phoenix Wright game that you'd do well to pick up, especially since the first episode is free.

A very good port of the last Ace Attorney game. The first case is free and then you have to pay for the others.
