Oct 30, 2012An awesome love letter to videogames and the people who love playing them. Buy it, play it, love it, and hope a sequel comes out soon.
-
Oct 28, 2012The visuals and soundtrack are definitely reminiscent of the old-school RPG days, and I absolutely love the Penny Arcade humor in the character dialogue. The only other complaint I have about it, besides the small joystick issue, is the fact that the text in dialogue boxes can be pretty small, considering how much space there is.

Oct 30, 2012Episode 3 is an awesome iOS RPG and a wondrous melding of classic and not-so-classic mechanics.
-
Oct 26, 2012Precipice of Darkness 3 is not only a brilliant Final Fantasy spoof, but an astonishingly well working 16Bit-RPG. The combat system with its wicked classes is well-though-out. Unfortunately the game is rather short.

Nov 12, 2012A breezy attempt at streamlining the classic JRPG, Penny Arcade's On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 offers some neat ideas but arguably doesn't go far enough in modernising the genre.

Nov 1, 2012A quite fun old school RPG with new school humour. An uneven level of difficulty, hard to read texts on smaller devices, lack of online leaderboard or achievements and dated sound effects draw the final rating down. It is still worth experiencing if you want a fun adventure with weird bunch of heroes.
