    Make no mistake, Papers, Please is a political and sociological statement, and often it's quite a distressing one. But it also stands as proof of the power of games to extend beyond the boundaries of simple entertainment and thrills, and it tells a hell of a story in the process.

    This game is the best example I can give of the importance of games as a medium of art: Papers, Please is precision-engineered to encourage you to feel empathy. There’s few films (or works of literature, or musical compositions) that slip you into the shoes of a man in an impossible situation as adroitly as Papers, Please does.

    Papers, Please continues this years great line-up of PC ports to iOS. It has a great subtlety to it, and its message to players can be interpreted in so many different ways.

    The dream game. Checking stuff under time pressure and loads of endings. It's fantastic and sounds boring but super fun. Not Tonight is as good too.

    I was pretty sceptical about this game but once I started playing I couldn't stop, great storyline and indie grafics, Glory to Arstotzka!

This game should not be fun, stamping peoples passports should not be fun but it is, the game is full of hard decisions, at the end of the day when you haven't made enough money should you forgo food or heat for your family, should you let someone who really needs to get through, go through, even if they haven't got the the right papers. The game has multiple endings, your choices effect which one you get.

    Simplistic yet perfect, I played this on PC when it first came out and I will also be purchasing for iOS. Highly recommended.    … Expand

    It´s fun but too repetitive, frustrating and with little replay value.
    Is not a bad game but also not a perfect one.
