This is an excellent game to have a bit of fun with. Each level gets harder as you progress, and you have to be careful not to make any mistakes or else you won't be able to feed your family. It is an emotional game that forces you to make tough decisions. Should you let this man in so he can see his family, even though his papers are obviously forged? It´s fun but too repetitive, frustrating and with little replay value.
Is not a bad game but also not a perfect one.

Papers, Please is a simulation of an authoritarian, oppressive and terrible regime, but once we understand it, we discover that it becomes a video game that is ironically fun.

Make no mistake, Papers, Please is a political and sociological statement, and often it's quite a distressing one. But it also stands as proof of the power of games to extend beyond the boundaries of simple entertainment and thrills, and it tells a hell of a story in the process.

This game is the best example I can give of the importance of games as a medium of art: Papers, Please is precision-engineered to encourage you to feel empathy. There’s few films (or works of literature, or musical compositions) that slip you into the shoes of a man in an impossible situation as adroitly as Papers, Please does.
