ORC: Vengeance

Big Cave Games have managed to deliver the caliber experience in ORC: Vengeance that Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter series has been unsuccessfully attempting to attain for the last three years. Recommending this title doesn't do enough justice. You should steal every iOS device you can find and install it immediately. The owner will have no choice but to thank you for it later.

Orc: Vengeance could really be considered a (very) reduced but optimized version of Diablo. Graphics are impressive and gameplay is addictive; of course there is an abyss from Diablo but the "dark" side of Chillingo started with a good product

Orc: Vengeance is generally as derivative as its name implies. Still, it's a loot fiend's best buy on the mobile platform for now, and its intuitive gesture controls are the right direction for mobile dungeon crawlers.

ORC: Vengeance keeps things simple and focused, and as a result its attempt at action-RPG dungeon crawling comes off as far more engrossing than those who spread their efforts too thinly.

ORC: Vengeance is one of the best classic action roleplaying games in iOS to date. It has all the virtues and vices of the genre, and its five chapters offer plenty of fun. Its control systems are especially well done, and greatly adapted to a touchable experience. Maybe it is not an original game, and it lacks a multiplayer cooperative mode, but it is a greay game at a quite an affordable price.

Featuring terrific graphics and scaled-down RPG elements, Orc: Vengeance provides an exciting and approachable mobile experience.

Despite its few deficiencies, ORC: Vengeance is a great game. Controls are solid, story/ambiance is no worse than its competitors, and the graphics are top notch. I was continually impressed by the draw distance, and at no point did my first generation iPad experience any slowdown.

Orc: Vengeance is not without its issues. However, these minor annoyances are simply that. Even with these, you're still left with a great hack n' slash action-RPG with plenty of loot, decent controls and beautiful visuals.

ORC: Vengeance absolutely deserves to take its place amongst the best dungeon crawling games on the App Store, of which, there are few. Next to Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter series, it's the closest thing you'll find to Diablo 3 on smartphones and tablets, filled with cool weapons, visually stimulating graphics and rewarding combat.

This Action-RPG adventure it´s an absolutely must have for fans of the genre... but lacks variety in the long run.

Orc: Vengeance is a great looking hack'n'slash and is extremely fun to play, but it's also too easy and the touch controls need a little tuning.

Orc: Vengeance is an engrossing dungeon-crawler wrapped up in some beautifully detailed visuals.

ORC: Vengeance certainly has it's moments when the gesture controls come together when surrounded by five or six monsters, and Rok rocks his axe. Too much time is spent slowly running around the linear levels looking for a switch to open another gate.

This would be a fantastic game if it had better controls.

A good-looking and accessible dungeon-crawler, Orc: Vengeance falls down with restrictive levels and woeful controls.
