    I am not a big fan of repetitive music in applications, but I would like some effects when I move, fight, attack, and interact with other characters.

    Though the title of the game is perhaps a bit deceptive, Modern War is still a great social gaming option for folks who dig war themes. The game can be a little slow going until you've built up a base that yields a steady cash flow, and the multiplayer is pretty lackluster. But in short spurts, Modern War is a fun way to pass the time.

    A good game that is addictive. Best played as a member of an active faction going it on your own is not as good a playing experience. AlsoA good game that is addictive. Also have the feeling that you really do need to spend "real money" to do really well at the game. The only complaint is that it is odd to attack a far weaker player of a lower level and still lose. That's a bit too random IMHO.… Expand
