Apr 15, 2012Beautiful PC port of Max Payne! The story is 100% the same as the original PC version! Though the auto-aim and touch screen controls were a bit annoying...

May 18, 2012Max Payne was one of my favourite games back in the day and the iOS port did not disappoint either! Still the great game I remember it to be with really easy to use controls. Quick run through of the Tutorial and you'll be sorted. Great game play and some nice optimised graphics.

Nov 16, 2015Masterful storytelling and narration, and for its time a groundbreaking bullet-time mechanic that still manages to be satisfying and fun to use today,

Dec 26, 2020Story: 7, Gameplay: 8, Graphics: 7. I played this game in 2013, and i think it hasn't aged well, one of the best shooter game i played. Too bad it got too much technical issues on the Iphone 4s

Dec 26, 2015Game is brilliant. Atmosphere, a lot of different locations and weapons and amazing slow motion are things for which You will love this game. But I felt disappointed if we talk about controls. It could be much more better.

Feb 22, 2015This game was amazing! It was a great port from the PC!! The graphics were great and everthing about it was great too. The only thing I hated about the game was that it was laggy at times. Overall I rate this 9/10.

Games Master UKMay 30, 2012The controls disappoint but this is a great excuse to revisit an old favourite. [July 2012, p.92]

May 23, 2012A perfect way for new gamers to learn the story of Max before they delve deep into Max Payne 3.

May 14, 2012Max Payne Mobile pays tribute to the original, and if you have never played the original you owe it to yourself to give it a go. It is by no means a perfect game, and you will get annoyed with Max spastically drying to jump, or getting stuck on something. Still it is an important piece of gaming history, and despite the flaws it is highly enjoyable due to a great story, amazing voice acting and relentless action.
