Lots of games are actually taking the Magic Rush formula and copying this game with their own IP: Shadow of Mordor on the iOS, Disney Heroes, are some big examples.
If you don't know in this game you choose 5 heroes to become a team and fight on Campaign, PvP, horde modes, Alliance Wars, Alliance versus Boss, Throne Wars, Realm Wars tower defense and so much more. Heroes have roles like Tanks, Marksman, Mages, Support adn Cannon and there are 94 heroes with almost 85 of them you can get for free, so the amount of variety here is HUGE, especially for a free game.
The game has a natural flow with its content, giving you more every 5 or 6 levels, so when you are used to the previous one it gives you something more to keep it fresh.
This is a true freemium game where you can have most of it free and you play a little bit every day.
Even with pay to get stronger microtransactions, you get so much for free in return that it feels fair.

Honestly not much of a bad game however it was quickly overrun with pay2win as new features requiring payments got added on a weekly basisHonestly not much of a bad game however it was quickly overrun with pay2win as new features requiring payments got added on a weekly basis making older features redundent.

The core gameplay was actually pretty good with a mix between a team vs team combat with special moves for each hero that can be activated by touch. And a tower defence mode which was under used and fades out of the gameplay early on. During the early moments in a new server (before the divide between paid and free is too large) its worth playing, but after a while it becomes too rediculous to play.
