Aug 11, 2011Let's Golf 3 is the best golf game in the App Store, hands down. Gameloft's exquisite sports title plays similar to Sony's Hot Shots Golf series, but the developers upped the ante with a wide assortment of power-ups, courses, user-friendly touch controls and seamless online play. The best part? It's free.

Sep 4, 2011Let's Golf! 3 could ask you from 79 cents to 39.99 euros in order to play without limitations, but the game also rewards your skill by giving you some virtual money every time you win a match. The bottom line is you can actually play for hours without paying anything, that's great. In terms of gameplay, this new episode is very similar to Let's Golf! 2, it comes with a lot of modes and also gives you the opportunity to play online matches for up to four players.

Aug 11, 2011A polished and highly enjoyable golf experience. I'm not entirely sold on the freemium model, but you can still have a good time on the green without spending a cent, and so making it free will no doubt put this feature rich golf game in the hands of more gamers.

Aug 17, 2011If you don't mind pumping a few bucks into a game that's supposed to be free-to-play, Let's Golf 3 is as good as iPhone golfing gets.

Games Master UKSep 25, 2011It uses a freemium model that means to get into it properly you have to pay anyway. [Nov 2011, p.94]

Sep 2, 2011An incredibly frustrating game to play. I still enjoy the core gameplay, and I absolutely love the custom characters and huge variety of things to buy for my character. However, the freemium mechanics and poor framerate just keep interrupting the experience that I know it can provide.

Aug 15, 2011Let's Golf! 3 plays and looks fantastic, but its use of in-app purchases and its energy system means it borders on unplayable for those without bottomless pockets.
-
Aug 12, 2011By limiting the actual amount of time you can play without spending money, Let's Golf! 3 goes from a fantastic golf game to an exercise in frustration.
-
Nov 10, 2011Without the freemium aspect It would be easy to award Let's Golf 3 with a great score, it's a solid game that improves on previous titles. With it, the game feels as if those gophers from the advert have popped up and made holes all over the golf course; it ruins the game.
-
Aug 19, 2011There are times when the freemium model makes sense, but with Let's Golf 3 it feels more like a cheap grab for the wallet as it hands out a stripped down title for a sport that requires lengthy multiple rounds to complete, eating up your 'energy' faster than you can earn it.

Aug 26, 2011Meet Gameloft's great mistake: here is a game of exceptional quality, one that is beautiful while offering enjoyment and longevity, spoilt by a unscrupulous policy of fleecing the player. The approach is all too evident: you'll need to continually go through the checkout if you want to get the most out of the game. In short, a hell of a mess that will hopefully dissuade Gameloft from repeating the experience.

Aug 23, 2011if Let's Golf 3 doesn't want me to play it, why should I?
