As other reviewers have pointed out, if you're willing to pay then you can purchase extremely powerful and exotic weapons (the ones that come in the bright, gaudy colours) that are many, many times more powerful than those one earns through game-play. As such, with these weapons, very unskilled players simply cannot lose, and win literally every PVP match. Their super-weapons shoot through cover, and will kill you with one shot (while your weapons needs to score multiple hits). Typically what the players outfitted with these super-weapons do is stand out in the open, and as soon as you move and attempt a shot, you're dead. Or, they immediately take the high ground, which negates any cover you may have, and with one shot you're also dead. While I can win around two-thirds of my PVP matches with equally endowed players, I lose every single match when against the super-weapons (which one is "randomly" pitted against sometimes 5 times in a row). Think a spirited high school boxer pitted against Mike Tyson and you have an idea. Here's what I've learnt to do against the super-weapons: nothing. I stand up and permit them to finish me off asap. That way, those who buy their way to success rather than earn it, get no extra practice and no extra entertainment from what is left to be a dull, boring PVP round. Make the game as boring as possible for them is my advice. Now, when it comes to paying-to-play, I experimented with a single $14 purchase, which had no perceptible effect whatsoever. It's a very expensive game that overwhelmingly rewards those who pay. If the game developers were to be reasonable with their prices, I'd recommend the game a bit more. But, as it stands, the game is a loser. Too bad, greed trumps quality in yet another game.… Expand
