Featuring one of the craziest and most colorful art styles we've seen, along with fun puzzle elements and somewhat frenzied gameplay, Kami Retro is as much fun to watch is it is to play.

Factor in those vibrant old school visuals and catchy tunes, and Kami Retro is a wonderful App that belongs on your iPhone.

A quirky little title which stands out in a market swamped with clones.

Levels come thick and fast, but what starts off as a charming, casual diversion soon bares its teeth and has you utterly absorbed in its gorgeous and inventive platform puzzle madness.

While it's got some room for improvement, it has a lot of good things going for it, has plenty of value and challenge in its 65 levels for $1.99 and is a concept that I hope gets explored even more in future updates and future games.

It's a solid platformer with fresh mechanics and fantastic presentation, and it really shouldn't be missed, especially by those with fond memories of the Lemmings series.

'Retro' gets thrown around all too easily and while KAMI RETRO features gaudy 'pixelated' visuals its the fun modern gameplay that makes this worth checking out.

A brightly coloured, cleverly designed platform-puzzler, Kami Retro is recommended for quick doses of challenging fun.

Kami Retro is a tough little game – but I had a great time playing it. Yes, I'm a total sucker for the 8-bit paper art. But that's just gravy poured over smart action-puzzle play.

Kami Retro deserves the critical praise it's been getting. It blends some quite familiar styles of gameplay into a distinctive little treat of a game, that's great for short sessions.

A lender and borrower with a few ideas of its own, Kami Retro's not quite perfect, but is worth a hundred more generic clones.

Even if it steals many ideas from other platforms, Kami Retro is a pretty fresh game, thanks to its colourful graphics and a catchy chiptune music. Unfortunately it would have deserved much depth and polish, especially with its awful and wrong controls. Anyway, Pawprint Games' last effort is still a fun game, recommended for the old platforms lovers.

An equally fun, as frustrating puzzle platformer.

The slow start and the repetition in the levels ultimately just left me feeling "eh." It's one of those titles that left me feeling totally ambivalent about it, with no strong feelings to either tell people to avoid or buy the game.
